The intellectual gulf between top Terran and top Protoss is laughably, deliciously hilarious. lmao, this is just as stupid as terrans arguing that because they play terran they're better then everyone else.

And what happens? Supernova just busts his way through, mindlessly with MMM. He pulls his SCVs, but it doesn't matter if he loses them as long as he takes down a base. Take down a Terran base and they just fly over one of their 5 CCs.
I'm done with this bullshit. Starcraft 2 is now dead to me. Or someone else could say "supernova kills 18 probes, and still almost loses and had to pull scvs." Your bias is clear as day. Not that I have any comment on the actual game, but your counter-argument to whatever he said is flawed. Supernova might've killed 18 probes, but then Rain just played so good / Supernova just played so bad that Supernova almost lost. I can't see how that's supposed to prove that whatever the disgusted guy said is wrong.
Wrong? To ignore the fact that Supernova managed to kill 18 probes is biased. That is what I am trying to prove.
Look at his post. No mention of it. But maybe you saw this post as a valiant indignation of the Protoss race. Bahaha

GreenGringo you gotta remember that SC2 is an e-sport not because it's a perfect game, but because it was new, well-marketed, and big and the only modern RTS game that can be taken in any way seriously. Many Koreans have said this in not so many words that it doesn't really matter if the game is good or not people still have bills to pay and if there's money in it then it will be played.

He's a troll. What i don't get is why he wasn't warned or banned for his posts yet. We've seen that for much less insulting/biaised/whinning/stupid posts.
And "random timing" is when the toss don't have storm. It demands a lot of game sense to do it at the right time WHEN STORM IS ALREADY RESEARCHED. KThxbye.
BtW game 2 is an incredible build from Rain. Very disgusting, i'm gonna fear that.

For Protoss players any control over A-move is brillant

Rain executed a complex, multi-layered strategy. Supernova just attacked at a random time, pulling workers because he was losing, and relied on the brute force of a deathball that he can almost A-move.

Sorry, protoss army control is the easiest thing in sc2. Yes I play Terran, but I played over a 1000 games as Protoss on ladder. MMMVG control is really hard. But you're so damn biased. Your posts only contain qq and bashing (Terran players are stupid, brainless etc etc). Play the other races (random) to before you start qq'ing plz. .・゜゜・(/。\)・゜゜・.

Yes, SCV worker pull is Terran's free win buttan. *sarcasm*

We just saw that it's not true. Supernova practically A-moved that first game. Zero splitting against storms, no clever ghost usage. Attacking up a ramp, etc. It didn't matter.
The reality is you're just running around with your deathball and A-moving the enemy when he gets close. Maybe splitting a teeny bit. It can't compare with the multi-layered, tactically sophisiticated shit that Rain is pulling every match.

"Intellectual gulf" is a really dumb way to describe a really dumb idea. Partly because Starcraft isn't a game about "intellectual" superiority, partly because you have to be an idiot to think one entire race of players is just straight smarter than another entire race, and partly because the phrase "intellectual gulf" is just a really bad one.

People refuse to engage in any critical evaluation or discussion about Blizzard gameplay because they're so emotionally invested in playing a class/race/faction that they can't see straight. It's sad because it devalues and contaminates all balance and gameplay discussion. Everyone think that if they can somehow convince the world that their class/race/faction is hard to play then they can feel better about themselves when they win or lose, and if they happen to draw a buff or two to their class/race/faction because of the incessant qq then that's just a bonus, right?

Correct... If they wine (mispelling intentional) Blizzard enough, Blizzard has proved via WoL Zerg buffs, that they will listen and nerf a strategy they previously considered valid (early harass, via sniping queen) because win ratios.
Edit: Because they consider Zerg macro mechanics so unforgiving they deserve wins because more units = victory, never mine they a-moved their entire ling/bling/muta force into 200 pt army of marines/medivac/marauder/mines because hellbat drops.

No, not really. Sophisticated timing attacks and strategies such as what we see from Rain are a part of the cerebral aspect of the game. This is lacking in Terran, a race which has always been able to rely on the brute force of MMM plus animal reflexes required to micro it. I believe the first game in the series illustrated this point quite well.
As for this thin-skinned bullshit about me being insulting. Isn't it insulting to call someone an idiot? I didn't accuse Terran players of being idiots; I merely implied that their race isn't as cerebral.

If the Terrans are so thin-skinned that they can't read a post like this without flying into hysterics and calling for the moderators...they are the ones who need to take a chill pill.
I'm done here. Feel free to distort my posts and accuse me of being insulting while in the same breathe calling me an idiot and a troll.

I mean, "intellectual gulf" is just a way to call someone an idiot and remind them you've been to college. And by the way, Supernova opened game one with a really clever harass timing that killed 16 probes. Everyone everywhere (including in this thread) said that you can't pressure a Protoss early because of MsC. He went ahead and did it anyway, and got good damage done.
By contrast, that brilliant "multi-layered" immortal/DT/HT push you were so excited about didn't really revolutionize the match-up or anything. Nobody ever said Protoss can't immortal push. If anything they said Protoss can immortal push, but he's rolling dice and hoping he breaks the front, because if he doesn't he's pretty far behind. In this case, he broke the front, so he was in good shape. If he hadn't, that game would have been pretty bad for him.
