For them to add maps like this then remove metalopolis makes no sense. I wish they made a damn 3 players map. But most of all i wished they didn't take out metal.

Metal was one of those maps that got me into the game because I loved how the map looked and wanted to play on it despite not knowing a fucking thing about sc2

Metalopolis gone is a really bad thing, and the new maps don't look so attractive, I still wonder why Blizzard doesn't bring the GSL maps to the map pool. Lets see what will happen.
With an average game length of 7m36s over his 6 games in GSL3, this is a no-brainer. BitByBit pulls more SCVs than yo momma at a club on Mar Sara. ♞

Do not troll me, I'm really not in the mood. You know as well as i do, that before shattered temple was re visioned, It was the lost temple. Also you should know Lost temple was released as one of the first map in Day 1 beta. You also know blizzard's reasoning behind removing Metalopolis and if you have an IQ over 75, You will understand the same reason should apply to shattered temple.

So i say again, Do NOT troll me. I'm really not looking forward to playing shit season 3, on shit maps. I'm in a bad enough mood as it is.


You actually don't classify the changes they made to Lost Temple as big enough to warrant a new time frame for gathering data on it? If you honestly think that then...idk I'm dumbfounded.

If Metalopolis is biased towards zerg, and according to Blizzard the game is balanced... then surely it means zerg is UP in every other map? :p

Other than that I agree with the removal, first of all I never thought it was that good, and it had more than enough time to shine.

Not sold on the new maps yet, but I guess we'll see!

At first I was like wtf about Metalopolis as well but they're right it's been in the map pool since the beta and we can use a change. That plus the imbalance towards Zerg makes me fine with it.
Plus three other horrible maps are gone so we can just veto Blackwater Gulch and Typhon Peaks now!

It's funny because TLO was just mentioning that Metalopolis should be taken out. I liked what he said in the Grubby tournament, so I'm not going to re-write it. I, for one, won't miss it.

I'm happy they decide to remove metalopolis, i know I'm an exception but the close pos is ridiculous, paths are small, b2 is wide and hard to defend, the main is a very free space for drop and there is a big place to protect bl from agression.

However I don't think metalopolis deserve to be remove if close pos is removed while blackwater gulch is still here.
