Who is doing the math over at blizzard? In what world do they live where a 3 player version of metalopolis is more predictable than the same thing on shakuras, or a 2 player map like xel'naga?

Sometimes I would rather they just not explain the things they do at all.

well... might not be 1 second, but it surely doesn't take more than 3 i guess, unless you cannot spawn on those locations. (the top 2 lines are exactly the length of the bottom 2, just in a straight line

Oh wow, Metalopolis out and Backwater Gulch stays in? And the reasoning is balance issues? So they are basically saying that Metalopolis is less balanced than Backwater? I wonder if they factor in rushes, allins etc with winrates to determine certain "imbalances". I'm personally not too sorry to see Scrap Station, Slag Pits and DQ go tho.

One thing I do know about season 3: I'm going to have a lot of fun with tanks.

Do not troll me, I'm really not in the mood. You know as well as i do, that before shattered temple was re visioned, It was the lost temple. Also you should know Lost temple was released as one of the first map in Day 1 beta. You also know blizzard's reasoning behind removing Metalopolis and if you have an IQ over 75, You will understand the same reason should apply to shattered temple.

So i say again, Do NOT troll me. I'm really not looking forward to playing shit season 3, on shit maps. I'm in a bad enough mood as it is.

you think zergs complained the most about metal? What? Are you just uninformed or what? Other then close positions, almost every zerg I can think of loves metal, and will choose metal in a bo3 if they lose as long as close positions aren't available. Like -_-.

also idk where blizzard gets 60% win rate because in tournaments its not 60% win rate for zerg, and tournaments are what should matter more, not ladder from bronze to grandmasters lol.

on metal zvt its 53.7%, zvp 53.8%. Oh blizzard didn't know that was 60%.

LOL predictable, more like balanced with a slight favor to zerg. Overall, I'm fine with the changes, but can't really say for sure until I play the new additions. But with that reasoning on meta, why the FUCK are they keeping shattered in there? Why can't they simply disable the close spawns by following the same logic. Are they seriously legitimizing the balance of the map strictly by INCLUDING the close spawns? How does that make sense?

Removed Metalopolis...huh.

Actually, I'm not surprised by that at all. Metal was a great map with close positions removed, and Blizz seems to really hate gimmicky things like that. MLG Metal is still a fantastic map, but Test Map 1 (Nerazim Crypt?) was very blatantly a "new" Metalopolis that tried to address the close spawn problem.

So I'm okay with that.

While I liked Metal, a lot, overall I think these changes improve the map pool. They got rid of the three most hated maps (Backwater is popular among casuals, apparently), and one really old one that people only like with close spawns disabled.

Fun as it is to gang up on blizzard, they're kind of sort of listening to the community. Mostly. 75%.

Completely agree with the reasoning on removing Metal.
But it's weird that they say that they are examining close pos and rush distances when 1 of their new maps is acclaimed by them to be a "rush map".
At least they are starting to go in the right direction a little bit.
I want to go back to being weird. I like being weird. Weird is all I've got. That and my sweet style.

i think its hilarious that ppl take the words of blizzard with blind faith. think about it yourself what makes a map imbalanced and what makes it imbalanced for zerg. then think whats worse, meta or these new maps.
