Noooooooo They took out CombatEX's cannon rush map. And Metalopolis gone is ok for me we need some change.

More 2 player maps.
We got them GOM TvT's and them mlGG's

All three maps I had vetoed got removed, so I'm pretty happy with a fresh set of three more vetoes. Sad to see Metalopolis go, but it had a great run. Unfortunately no GSL maps, but I did not give the new maps much time, to be fair, so we shall see!

Why people keep crying about Metal? that map is old and boring, L2P in new maps.
Water and Typhon arent bad map, just that u have to play different. specially in Water
and ppl cry about it.
i would be glad if they take out Xelnaga in season 4
if play random i can't call any race imba?

why are there huge rocks in the bottom and top, when you can just run around and not even waste one more second and be able to completely ignore the rocks? -.-

I think giving a map that has been around about 1/4 the time as meta more time in the pool to see if it keeps following what their data is telling them now much more of a reasonable answer than just throwing it out only after a few months of play.


Do not troll me, I'm really not in the mood. You know as well as i do, that before shattered temple was re visioned, It was the lost temple. Also you should know Lost temple was released as one of the first map in Day 1 beta. You also know blizzard's reasoning behind removing Metalopolis and if you have an IQ over 75, You will understand the same reason should apply to shattered temple.

So i say again, Do NOT troll me. I'm really not looking forward to playing shit season 3, on shit maps. I'm in a bad enough mood as it is.


You actually don't classify the changes they made to Lost Temple as big enough to warrant a new time frame for gathering data on it? If you honestly think that then...idk I'm dumbfounded.

Why would blizzard remove one of the best maps they've made?....

Atleast they got rid of scrap, DQ, and slag pits though.

Well overall I think its a step in the right direction. I'm concerned about a few things on the new maps and wish they would keep metalopolis & remove the close positions though. The good news is my vetos on delta quad, scrap & slag pits transfer over to the new maps if they suck

Well... its understandable for taking metalopolis. i dont completely disagree with the decision but the key word is "for now." We'll see how things go but I wouldnt be surprised at a reemergence of metal some time down the road.

Blizzard should stop swapping out maps and start swapping out employees on their balance and map design teams. I'd also love to see a blog explaining why these people deserve their jobs.

I really don't care that Metalopolis was removed. It really wasn't good. It was just better than most other Blizzard maps, which isn't saying much.

Why are they adding so many generic 4-player maps that all look exactly the same? Is that their idea of what makes a "macro map" ?

I want 3 player maps.

i don't like the new maps, but i am actually happy, that they remove metalopolis. i ust can't see it anymore despite beeing a very good map

Just an additional attack path for counters etc. Imagine for example siege tanks at the one choke in ZvT, you can do a Ling counter attack using the other path. Not a bad thing per se, just something you could do.

Besides, it's still quite a lot faster than to run around. I'm pretty sure it takes longer than one second in the situation where you do not go through the third base but the other way around (in case that third is taken by your opponent with like a Planetary Fortress and isn't really an option).
