My opponent doesn't give a shit if lose, and neither do I. I just try to do my best and take comfort in the fact that every game makes me a little bit better as a player. In contrast, i get far more nervous playing a match against someone i know, because then i feel it means something.

I dunno why, but I don't really enjoy ladder, maybe because I get cheesed so much in diamond (I HATE to lose to cheeses against random peoples). I know I shouldnt worry about those things, but I still do. I will try to find some time to ladder more (well, its what I say everytime...).

Also, winning actually makes me want to stop playing, while I can't wait to press the Find Match button again after a loss. This, yet again, is probably not a good thing.

When I play my hands get sweaty almost instantly, I start holding my breath alot, I sometimes start shaking slightly.. possibly because of lack of oxygen :X and I have my eyes wide open all the time.. I probably look like someone being tortured lmao. I've still got a fairly clear head, but I get stressed to max. Every single time basically. I'm in diamond with a fairly good record, so I'm no scrub really, but yeah. I would probably be better if I could be more like chilltoss ♥ Edit: I think it has somewhat to do with my MMR being super high as I've been on a roll lately, so every time I play I face someone around 3300 master, which makes every game life and death basically, as I'm probably not actually on that skill level ^^

I literally get so nervous that I forget to blink. I can get to like the 10 minute mark before I realize due to my contacts killing my eyes. Unfortunately at that point it's so bad that I have to ask for a pause to put in eye-drops. <_<

The first time however is next to impossible. I'm still not ranked for season 2.

After getting better mechanics, I decided enough with this. The AI is not smart, it is predictable and is now stifling my growth. I said to myself, wtf why are you afraid, the other person is just as nervous as you are, they are afraid of what is going on in your base as well. I drank some red bull, got jazzed up, and hit the button a few times. Now, i always warm up with a couple games vs insane AI opponent to warm up and get my macro going strong before laddering. I am no longer nervous really when pushing the button, instead of shakes, or worry, it is thoughts of strategy and beating this next guy, and the next guy, and moving up the ladder that is fueling me.

I always try to play well, and there is some stress in that. SC really makes your brain work at 110% ... but I prefer laddering because I know it at attempts to match me with people around my skill level.
