Silence is akward in such a show. When the casters are talking about the players, put some music (doesn't have to be SC soudntrack, just a low atmospheric sound). When a game is done, a small animation /graphic/ with punchy music would be nice. Music/sounds can really create hype+excitement. I don't have a problem with Gretorp except when he starts screaming.

With GSL you have a view of the crowd in the background, with a studio at your disposal maybe you can do some greenscreen technique? I understand the point you are trying to make, but I highly disagree with the greenscreen since I'm 99% sure it will look like a joke. When the EG masters cups were done with the "fake" studio conducted around Dj Wheat and Day9 it was very distracting.

Well, the green screen was just an example, even if it's like flowers on the table that would be oke in my book. It's just so plain atm.

Also, there was too much play-by-play and not enough analysis of what was actually going on. I assume this might get better, but I don't need someone to tell me exactly what's happening on the screen. What I'd like to see is keen observations about macro and micro and the strategies utilized -- what might work and what might not and why. Sorry, but I don't like Gretorp either. His excitement sounds canned and fake and he doesn't really say anything worthwhile.

Let the players, play on Hidden Bo maps, so no one can see the results(Who won!) by watching Match History. Or just let them play live for real!

Some of the yelling wasn't natural excitement, it was just yelling because it was deemed appropriate for the situation and that's fine, I just wish it was more natural. Maybe I'm nit-picking. The only real problem I had was them just completely missing some things in the games. This problem will fix itself after they cast regularly over the next few days. I'd like to see other commentators swap in and out occasionally, I think that'd add some excitement.

Im unsure how their obs system is set up they need to copy the gsl system and make the obs guy practice a lot during down time. Also Game music is nice to avoid awkward silence. Still love what theyre doing thanks for working so hard on esports.!

Hopefully these things will be ironed out, but these are things that should be avoided quickly given that the stuff is prerecorded. They need a down in the trenches operations guy to just sort out all the scheduling/workflow.

Starting at 9pm Eastern on weekdays is a bit late, I can't stay up till midnight watching sc2. Why aren't vods free? They are in every other league/tourny. Not having free vods is an even bigger problem when the show is so late on a week day. I don't mean to sound so negative, just making suggestions. >.>
