Maybe I'm just missing it, but I couldn't seem to find a direct link to the live stream on the NASL website. That's definitely a must-have is it's not there already.

I would like them to have game music in the background during the games not overwhelming or anything just in the background so you can hear it in the dull periods without much commentary or game sounds.

Good job replacing INcontrol. Now just replace Gretorp (with another oldschool bw caster) and we're good to go. Actually INcontrol in Gretorp's place would be acceptable.

I'm going to be blunt, and hopefully someone at NASL reads this and considers it.

By casting live and broadcasting delayed, you are gaining all of the disadvantages of a live cast with none of the advantages. By broadcasting delayed, you are gaining a slight advantage in production time, and nothing else.

Beyond that, the EG Master's production was equal to, if not better than this, and it was done live.

This July/White_ra preview is the exact problem. It's hilarious, but there are other problems to come.

what i really dislike is the "pregame" show.

dont get me wrong, i really like how they discuss players, matchup etc. i just think its very badly timed.

30 minutes of just talk get boring esp when you know most of the stuff already. it would be way better if it would be just before the match the talk is about. when the match they talk about happens 2 1/2 hours later you forget most oif it anyways and later the matches start so fast without any brake.

guess its also related to their recording style but imo it would be much better if they could work that out.

Sure they do, they gain scheduling advantages (within foreseeable reason).

They are able the schedule 5 x 1-1.5 hour games over a 24 hour period to accommodate for differing schedules of players. The individual games may not be contiguous, but by broadcasting delayed they are able to combine them into one broadcast.

I know this has been beat to death, but no music and low game sounds really kills the atmosphere of it all.

Weren't they going to fix the volume peaks issue? It's so annoying, I have to keep controling my speaker volume to hear/avoid ear bleeding.

Cut out the Parts that are really not needed (like in today`s cast showing all the hype and that for the White-ra vs july game when we knew it didnt exist).

and as everyone have said please put the ingame music on to have a better atmosphere.

I like a lot of what gretorp brings to the commentary, a lot of the information is spot-on, but when he gets into 'excited' mode he tends to get a bit loud and gets a bit monotone.

Excited states are one of the more difficult things to control, just something he could work on to improve as a caster, he does have a lot of potential, not deserving of all the hate i've been seeing (It's a tougher job than most people seem to believe).

Keep working to improve things and I look forward to seeing the amazing things that can come out of this format.

Besides incontrol, the casters are so boring. My opinion

Add vamp music like the gsl and dont say "Sooo" before you start talking every time because you can tell that there was a cut. also i think Diggity is fantastic and it should be incontrol and diggity as casters. gretorp slurs his words and studders and fumbles too much. fix the stream so my video doesnt freeze.

I think not hyping white-ra vs July zerg in the pre-game show that was delayed by an hour should not be included when we all knew before hand that july got a forfeit win.

Then cast replays, don't cast live. Casting replays provides more flexibility to the players, and allows them to settle controversies like lag/disconnects ahead of time.

I agree that the things you mentioned are good, but they're still there with replay casting, and they wouldn't have the disadvantages of the live cast.

- Turn off windows sounds :X

- Casters are kinda overexposed.

- Backdrop isnt a backdrop but a wall with visible joints and blisters and shadows from casters are visible. ^^

- Interviews are made with a phonecamera/webcam? Bad framing and bad mic-levels.

And where are their supposed big sponsors?

its alright considering its the first season, though an improvement would be having the mics further away, i always found gretorp's voice a little loud and "yelly" throughout the casts

If you watch State of the Game you will understand why streaming cannot be live for online events, people who you would never think to cheat, cheat because of the temptation and the money. (This was said by liquid Tyler and agreed on by everyone on SotG) Casting the games live allows them to get it back to us as soon as possible, waiting to cast off replays would be much worse in my opinion.
