Not that much. In Europe they still have shitty service because of no or not enough servers. And it's been like that since day 1. TSL worked with JTV, right? And it supported more than 50k viewers without problems. I am confident that JTV have the infrastructure to support a lot more concurrent viewers. As for the lag and desync on the Jinro/IdrA showmatch - that's because it was a replay and differennt PCs read them differently. NASL will be casted and recorded live, but the broadcast will be edited and put on stream a day later - all problems that occur live should be fixed/edited out so we could get the best "live" experience.
Also JTV/NASL don't make us use a shitty video player to watch the games :D

Are you serious? JTV is the biggest shhhh ever. It always lags for me. Plus, TSL is streamed on ustream.
But why oh why does incontrol have to cast? There are so many really good casters in sc2....

My PC does 2(2)=5 and yours does 2(2)=4, so I completely understand. I'm also glad you've single handedly resolved GOM's network infrastructure problems, and your JTV-TSL remark further improves your credibility in my eyes.

It is a reasonable price, but I'd prefer to at least wait a season to see what kind of quality they are providing.
|
I might be being a bit nittpicky here, but shouldn't there be an option setup to pay via PayPal to JustinTV and not direct? Yes the payment page is HTTPS but still, why not use the PayPal system or the option of direct to JustinTV?
|
I will be paying for it since it is a very good price
|
any updates when the buying of a season pass will be fixed? I want to buy it since yesterday, but the credit card number input field is bugged. unfortunately the nasl.tv page does not give any opportunity to contact them directly...
|
3 months season, hq stream and vods and no commercials...
sounds definetely reasonable for 25 bucks!

What browser are you using? I did it through FF4 and had no issues.
@fer, maybe the PCs weren't 100% identical in hardware - that was my point. Maybe one pressed unpause 1s later, etc. No need for such attitude, man. Not everyone is fighting for the credibility in your eyes :D

Any news on whether or not they will be accepting paypal??? I don't have a credit card available and 3 months of games for 25$ is something i'd really like to pay for,,,,

Really? Get off the hate wagon... iNcontrol does a better casting job than the majority of professional casters out there. He has in depth knowledge of all 3 races and can bring actual professional insight from himself and other pros he plays with to his casts. Regardless if you think hes a good player or not, he knows WAY more than other casters and his presentation is on point as well as he doesnt stumble over words or make constant mistakes. Personally, Id love to see CatsPajamas get a shot at NASL casting if he wants it, that guy is the closest thing to a "professional" caster there is right now. But in the broad spectrum, iNcontrol is a lot better than a ton of the other casters around atm...

Will there be flames and hot K-Pop stars, because the gsl has that as part of that package too

Just because he knows alot about SC2 doesn't mean he's a good caster, I'm sure there are tons of pros who you would probably hate casting, the same way some people don't like incontrol or gretorp. There's far more to casting than knowing alot about the game.

Despite that if there are no major fails (SUCH ALS MLG YDAY!1 /mad) then i will definately pay

Sure, but not everyone can fit the nasl casting schedule into their current schedules. iNcontroL does a fine job casting, although I have to admit I find Gretorp's casting a bit underwhelming.

Basically the main reason i'll buy a pass also

You could debate his lack of proven results on his player ability but as far as being entertaining and having knowledge of SC2? I think he has shown that plenty of times. That is all he really needs to cast.
