If you have criticism, you need to address the content, not the hosts. Idra and Artosis are 2 (1.5) Zerg players, but you can't point that out and then blanket them as biased. Respond to the content.
You can't tell them to "get 2 Terran and Protoss players". That's fucking obtuse advice. "Yo just get 4 more high level players to record with you." Yes, I think everyone sees the value in getting it, but it's not practical.
Respond to the content and use evidence / logic to back up your claims. |

this mirrors my own thoughts. move P strength from tech units to gateway units, move T strength from bio to tech units, and rethink the maps to help Z.

artosis played terran in sc1, and playing zerg befor, he is currently playing toss, im quite sure he knows what he is talking about

Talk about stim. Why does protoss have to get colossus / high temps to deal with it?
Also, I don't think colossus will rule PvP forever. i've beat a lot of masters by massing voids / gateway units.. have your voids in a control group and target them on the colossus and they drop crazy fast.

This episode was really a jumping off point, to see how people would respond which clearly, the majority sees this as a negative thing. Most of you are looking at this the wrong way as artosis can bring in any foreigner and do this show. I see a lot of potential, with bringing in players like Jinro, Ret, Incontrol and possibly even some koreans with a translator to talk a bit about balance as well as builds. It would even be cool to see Idra and Jinro talking about balance just because, hell why not? I think it's a good idea, it's like a more technical State of the Game except it's being held in korea, the center of SC2 esports.
And this wasn't a video about Zerg QQ, Artosis is actually quite good with protoss and almost qualified for GSL. Artosis really knows a lot about all the match ups, he is rarely ever wrong when he is casting a game that doesn't have a zerg playing. He really is smart when it comes to general game balance so I actually think it's a good idea he brought in a player like Idra who can talk specifically about Zerg. I think a lot of you are biased yourself, you see Artosis and immediately think he is cheering for the Zerg when all he wants is a balanced discussion to figure out ways to combat an imbalance. Also as someone like Artosis who WANTS this game to succeed, I can't see how a person such as him would want only one race to succeed, how would that further SC2 as an esport?
I know artosis will get more players to talk about balance and we'll have an even bias, it's merely the first episode and Idra was probably the easiest person to get at the time.

imo the new gsl maps will shut down these unit-x-is-imbalanced discussions..

If the colossus was perfectly balanced as a unit, should it be weakened, and Protoss buffed in other areas of their play so their match-ups don't stagnate into the same colossus/gateway support army in every single match-up? I realize of course that some Protoss are mixing in air units with their gateway army as well, but it still all centers around the colossus being there to dish out damage.
It seems like it would be beneficial to the entertainment value and diversity of gameplay if there were other stable, viable options for Protoss to tech to besides colossus.

OK Zerg users, spell it out for us. Are we, or are we not allowed to infer balance conclusions from GSLs? Because once upon a time, we weren't allowed. But now that's what you're doing. Is it because it's convenient to do so now?

When did Zerg dominate GSL? FD was the only Zerg in the top 8 of gsl 1.
Gsl 2 had more Zerg, but it was comparable to the amount of Terrans in the later rounds.
GSl 3 Zergs were prevalent in the early stages. But only 2 made it to the round of 8 where they died.
Gsl 4 only 3 zergs made it past the first group stage. One wasn't legit due to the fact it was a 3Z group.
Currently Terran has yet to miss a finals, and has been quite prevalent in the later stages of GSL.

You can't make gateway units better unless you get rid of the warp-in mechanic, otherwise it'll be impossible for Z to actually hold a 4/6gate allin.

Can some mods clean this thread/users up, because some comments is just spiteful and full of hate and have clearly not looked at the video.
If you watch the video (free content) and dont like it then dont watch it again.
Personally i thought they had great points and the more free content like this the better,i really think people should chill and think in of a world when ud havto pay for this.
And the comment about production vallue, comeon get a grip of reality its not like this is a big company with lots of add revenue corporate sponsorship its just 2 very sc educated pro players talking about sc and did the honors to provide it free for people willing to watch.
People are so ungreatful theese days really makes me kinda sad.

The new GSL maps would help zergs against collosus alot. But, if Blizzard won't add them to the ladder then everything will go to hell, lol.
