Well the thing is , when you're a BIG BIG company , you don't code for a few hours at night then wake up early in the morning and decide for an Open Beta Test. If this is what they ask you to test , this is %99 of what you'll get in full release. | ||

Don't forget that moderation was a feature of clan channels in Wc3, so don't expect mod features till that patch comes in. | ||

Though this is extremely obvious, but the Starcraft community isn't as active as it was a few months ago. You look at most leagues below diamond; and most of the time everything below rank50 is inactive or only plays custom games. Chat channels will be a great asset to counter this. Seriously, it's fucking retarded that they haven't included this at launch. It still pisses me off when I think about it. | ||

Like other people pointed out there needs to be some sort of moderation for private channels, and public channels could be a little less moderated :p but once all the kinks get worked out I think it will be awesome. Thanks for sharing your story about getting those obs games going and what not because honestly after about 30 minutes in the 'teamliquid' channel last night I didn't have the best feeling about chat channels... Pretty much the forums in real time with no moderation and more trolls. | ||
