Not to downplay space, he is a great player, but he isnt as bad as you think it is, its mostly his legs and arm strength that are lacking, not his overall finger dexterity. Also im unsure what pro tournaments he won, although a great player i just dont think he won anything. I'm happy that you can find solitude in sc2 and pursue the same hobby as the rest of us, from now on whenever my players complain i will be sending them here to give them a dosage of realism. Keep on driving yourself, as it does inspire those who havent gone through such turmoil. According to someone.. Space recently passed away.. i remember an interview about him long ago where he said that he most likely will not live to be over 20, given his condition. Really sad that his words came to fruition, but god damn if he isn't a shining example on how to live your life fully, no matter how rotten the lemons she gave you are.

I'm wondering if you can map ctrl-# to single keys. Those are pretty much the only two key button combos you need and it would make it much smoother to have those easily accessible. Also instead of attaching the mouse to your hand, attack a large plastic board or something that effect to top of the back end of the mouse to mouse to give you friction but not require you to move the mouse if you need to pick up your arm.

Reminds me of when I played dota/hon with 1 hand and 1 thumb when my mouse hand was out of commission. You are an inspiration.

I have been blessed with a cast on my left hand showing only three thumb index and middle finger. I was starting to get good before it all happened, but my macro has Gone to crap cuz I cant place my left hand on the keyboard. Will any of these practices help me get my macro back. Can anyone think of maybe a setup or anything that can help to get competitive again? Anyone have experience playing with a cast at all? The biggest issues are prolly shift clicking and qeueing commands. Mid battle reinforcements are also hard to do while attempting to micro a battle. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
