nexgenius vs hopetorture is one hell of a match. foxer vs kyrix sounds very interesting aswell. and ofc, the fan favorite match, boxer vs nada. omfg. but imho nada will take it rather easily. his fundamentals looked way better than boxers so far imho.
but on the other hand, boxer´s tvt skills today vs loner were far better than i had expected, so who knows?
Thank god its NOT the final. I mean, they're great players sure, but mirrors are so boring, especially TvT with the Viking/Tank wars.
TvT hasn't been Tank/Viking wars in a while, since like patch 1.1
I mean, you still see it occasionally, but it is far from the only direction the match can take. For example, the Marine/Banshee/Raven timing push that abuses PDD has become very popular.
Its the best mirror by far IMO (unfortunately, I'm stuck playing Toss, where the mirror is generally a "who can make more Colossi off one base" contest).
Boxer got this. He will bulldog his way with proxies, hidden base within base, building canceling mind fucking tech switches and lose the whole fucking base into victory.
On a more serious note, Boxer has demonstrated incredible micro play and strong awareness of timing in the round of 64 and incredibly solid TvT in round of 16 against Loner.
Nada's macro ability is top tier, the same can be said for his timing.
Has anyone really stopped to consider these matches?
Foxer has played brilliantly (except Ro64 which was a wash) and is a devastating TvZ threat while Kyrix is the Zerg to beat of the remaining 3.
Genius vs. ITR!?!?!? That game will be absurdly good as long as ITR doesn't take the day off (like last finals). Oh my goodness, Genius is IMBA and ITR can beat anyone spectacularly on any given day.
Nestea vs Zenio is the only thing approaching a "weak" match, but we are talking ZergBong vs the OGS allstar Zenio. It will be dynamic and interesting for sure.
And of course... The TornadoTerran vs the Emperor. Oh man. Nada's play is mechanically flawless and even superior to Boxer's, but will the man who changed BW have his creativity shine again? I can't imagine this match being anything less than bone-crushingly intense.

Pull a NEXGenius and blink stalker into his base. :D
I'm rooting for the last protoss to make it to the final.
I think Genius and Zenio are quite a lot better than their opposition. Kyrix could be an upset given the very aggressive style against Foxer's also aggressive style.
Nada Boxer could go either way but I see it somewhat stalemating early and Nada winning on macro in a longer game.
Edited for Bo5 games.
Edit2: Interesting to see the race balance here actually. The Ro4 I think will be 1-1-2 (possibly 1 Zerg 3 Terran like last time, veyr unlikely to be 2-2 Zerg Terran) which is the best race distribution we can hope for.
Nada's macro is going to destroy Boxer. NaDa has really good game sense. I honestly think NaDa will win 3-0.
Other games I think will be:
Rainbow Kyrix Zenio
The match I am most looking forward to watching is FauxeR vs Kyrix. Both are hyper aggressive, so it should be interesting to watch.

Idk bout toss...
Did you watch Nada vs Leenock? NaDa's TvZ is siiiiiiiiiick.
I kind of want Kyrix to win ... that aggressive Zerg style makes for the best games to watch (as does Foxer's aggressiveness). Could be really fun watching Nada deal with it.
