However, when I woke up the next morning, my account was "locked." I contacted blizzard and they said my purchase was declined for "security reasons" and that my credit card wouldn't be charged. I didn't pursue it beyond that. I did end up with a eu account, but I bought it off a third-party retailer based in the UK, you can find one if you google around. Some larger ones like Amazon UK won't ship to the US though.

Most CC companies will immediately mark a Euro transaction from NA (or in Europe) as being suspicious unless the card is literally swiped or the chip read. Yea, that's what I suspected happened with me. I didn't end up looking into it though.

I'm assuming its because I am trying to use my credit card which is US-based. Any help would be appreciated. Try this out. Cheaper is US: http://www.mmoga.com/Gamecards-CD-Keys/Starcraft-2-Key.html It's an European key. Or UK: http://www.mmoga.co.uk/Gamecards-CD-Keys/Starcraft-2-Key.html Also an European key (look at the EU-Flag on the bottom of the first picture). have fun Edit: The sites are trustworthy, I bought my key there They send the key via E-Mail

EDIT: It's actually cheaper to do it through this method because it will charge you in USD instead of euros. So you'll end up paying $59.99 instead of 59.99 euros or w/e the amount may be.

Just tried kr.battle.net and works there too. EDIT: The only difference being that I probably can't register a korean CD key without using a korean ID number.

You can login to battle.net (where I already have SC2 purchased, installed and running, NA Region) and then select to purchase SC2. Switch to EU region and purchase this version / key. Having both NA and EU keys registered to 1 battle.net account. What is the best way to switch from region to region? 2 copies of the installed game under different install paths? (1 for each region) If that works I suppose each reason will recognize the email address associated with battle.net and pull up the correct key / acct for the specific regional client I use. If this won't work or there is a better way, please correct, update and let me know. Thanks,
