However, when I woke up the next morning, my account was "locked." I contacted blizzard and they said my purchase was declined for "security reasons" and that my credit card wouldn't be charged. I didn't pursue it beyond that. I did end up with a eu account, but I bought it off a third-party retailer based in the UK, you can find one if you google around. Some larger ones like Amazon UK won't ship to the US though.

Most CC companies will immediately mark a Euro transaction from NA (or in Europe) as being suspicious unless the card is literally swiped or the chip read. Yea, that's what I suspected happened with me. I didn't end up looking into it though.

I'm assuming its because I am trying to use my credit card which is US-based. Any help would be appreciated. Try this out. Cheaper is US: http://www.mmoga.com/Gamecards-CD-Keys/Starcraft-2-Key.html It's an European key. Or UK: http://www.mmoga.co.uk/Gamecards-CD-Keys/Starcraft-2-Key.html Also an European key (look at the EU-Flag on the bottom of the first picture). have fun Edit: The sites are trustworthy, I bought my key there They send the key via E-Mail

EDIT: It's actually cheaper to do it through this method because it will charge you in USD instead of euros. So you'll end up paying $59.99 instead of 59.99 euros or w/e the amount may be.
