If nothing is done within the next year, we will have essentially a 2 race game, maybe even just a 1 race game. 5 seconds added to reapers and bunkers and siege tank nerf really aren't enough. Zerg needs to be changed, not terran although terran nerfs will help. This is really sad to see as I love playing zerg.

Make Hydras T1 and Roaches T2 + bring back Organic Carapace + Hydra Speed

Will help Zerg a lot early game. Might not be balanced but would be better than this atm.

Add scourge. With marauders, Terran drops are even more dangerous than in bw. So one of Terran's many options has become more lethal, and yet Zerg's most efficient counter has been removed. Doesn't make sense.

well muta ling/bane will always be the #1 zvt strategy always and forever because theres no possible way you can protect yourself from drops but it greatly hinders your tech/upgrades/ground force
i learned this the hard way when i played players like cauthonluck who always do multi drops while pushing and expanding
you need air so he doesnt have so much drop freedom

It is when you're trying to grow a game in its initial release phase. Taking 6 months to fix this situation will do nothing but drive people away from the game, which will only hurt it in the long run.

That is 6 GSLs.

That is long enough to make or break this game in esports with that much money on the line.

You sort of missed the point. For the user, 6 months feels like a long time. For the developer, finishing a project that's getting basically no development budget from the higher-ups (because do you honestly think Activision would spend a dime on patching SC2 when the game is already out?) in 6 months is probably pretty good time.


When you go to work and a customer calls tell them they have to wait 6 months for whatever they ask and see what happens.
There's no S in KT. :P

yeah but TLOs ZvT is his best matchup as Zerg. It's really really good. this was true even before he settled on terran. and so thats why i'm gonna side with TLO if they both are "offracing" because TLO really isn't offracing that much, and he's going into his best matchup.

I don't think I know any top level player that has successfully switched to Terran from another race. Even when Random I always thought TLO's best race was his Terran.

I like this. 2 marauders can't kill a base. However, dps-wise, 8 marines with stim can match marauders, and the strength of terran drops is that they can send 4 drops ships out on completely different paths, drop you in each of your bases, take out half your econ if you can only defend one or two bases, and then get away while staying nice and safe in their base with the protection of tanks and turrets. Then while zerg is trying to remacro, terran moves forward and takes base by base.

So basically, it's not just the units that the dropships are able to carry, it's the sheer mobility it provides the terran army when the terran army's best strength lies in immobility (defending their 2 bases).

Id rather see fast, multiple, big changes rather than small insignificant patches like 1.1.0 that wont change anything and take extremely long to take out.
