TLO's Zerg play is what made me stay with them as my race. I was so sad when he announced he was switching to Terran. He should play some showmatches at least, but I wish he would go into tournaments with Zerg.

Seriously this thread needs more moderation. Anyway maybe Zerg doesn't fit Cool's playstyle.

I like this. 2 marauders can't kill a base. However, dps-wise, 8 marines with stim can match marauders, and the strength of terran drops is that they can send 4 drops ships out on completely different paths, drop you in each of your bases, take out half your econ if you can only defend one or two bases, and then get away while staying nice and safe in their base with the protection of tanks and turrets. Then while zerg is trying to remacro, terran moves forward and takes base by base. So basically, it's not just the units that the dropships are able to carry, it's the sheer mobility it provides the terran army when the terran army's best strength lies in immobility (defending their 2 bases).
How about Marauder costing 4 spaces and Marine costing 2. It forces you to bring more drop ships to actually do real damage, limiting the amount of simultaneous droppings you can do for such a free commodity. You have two options to balance something you made wildly more accessible: Nerf its potency or buff its countermeasures. Reducing effective cargo size is one, or bringing back a Scourge equivalent is another. I like the cargo size one because it doesn't affect the matchup all that much.

He's pretty much the #1 Zerg in the world. If it doesn't fit his playstyle, it doesn't fit anyone's :\

5 second change on 3 units, 2 of which are in a small sample of terran strategies, will not swing the matchups from 90-60% to 50/50.
I was personally expecting/hoping for hydras moved to tier 1.5 or something like that. Zerg is just fundamentally outclassed by the other races.

Make medivacs being able to heal units an upgrade. Start out as dropship, upgrade to healing capacity at starport. Concussive shells back to 100/100. Bunkers can't be salvaged if being attacked, and increase time to salvage.

I do (was top 100 europe in ladder)... The first time i actually saw it doing damage eto my army was after 5 month's of playing... Channeled spells were and are crap.

Wouldn't scourge and lurks fix a lot of these problems? Are they going to be units that come with the 'balance-expansion' packs? If this is the case then blizz can go .... themselves.
Medivac rant + Show Spoiler +I hate this unit. Why does it exist and who came up with the idea of giving terran a drop ship that heals bio units with a magical green beam? There are medics in the campaign ffs. It would make terrans choose between loading only dps units in the drop ship or adding a medic or two with the drop.

look at julyzerg's stats and win% on ladder, then look at nada's then realize julyzerg has almost 4x the experience then cry

well the biggest problem is that this game isn't stable, if they buff zerg too much in early game zerg has an even bigger advantage in the later stages of the game. You also want to use every unit, which is done very good in all non mirror matchups(except tvt)

This continued realization of zerg's incapability is so depressing.
I really hope blizz is playing attention because what happens in the pro- and high level gaming scene is a long term liability for the success of the game. If tournaments soon become 85% terran, 13% protoss, and 2% zerg, no one will want to watch, and the impetus for competitive play at lower levels will die a slow death.
