im sure "orb walking" was because effects in dota like frost were called "orb effects" ^^

Animation cancelling is so bad for the game. its an exploit and needs to be taken out of the game. Amagine if you could do it with melee units it would be stupid. The game is balanced around attack animations and the units turn speed this makes it way worse.
If you think playing with under 100APM is noob try having a ping of 450. Welcome australians to BNET 2.0....

Animation canceling is in so many games I doubt anyone really considers it an exploit at this point...

Wow, this is incredible. I spent ~15 minutes playing around with it and feel like I vastly improved my reaper stutter step micro (my marine/marauder/banshee was very solid to begin with, but also improved noticeably).

It's a lot easier with LAN latency on single player, though--the difference is amazingly noticeable when you're concentrating fully on micro like this. Is there any chance that you could publish this so we can practice in the laggy BNet conditions? I tried publishing it myself, but I get some weird errors (censor apparently rejects it due to unacceptable words wtf?).

Not useful for any zerg unit except roaches on creep with speed boost. Any other scenario is rather unlikely, since stalkers are same seed as roach off creep, zealots usually aren't really around much when roaches have speed (or if they do they have speed too), and marines and marauders can stim to get away.

Not to mention, roach's attack period and DPS are both quite poor.

Because you can cut out atleast 5 or 6 minutes of useless macro when you're trying to learn something new.

If you've ever practiced music and you have a trouble with one part of the song, you drill the same measure over and over again until you've figured out how to do it, then you go back and play the whole song. There's no sense in trying to learn the whole song if you can't play those 16th notes at the halfway point.

I dont think vulture style micro is even in the game..
But this is the same as goon micro in sc1, the whole move stop move stop move stop thing

hmm, if you just put gateways/hatches and respectable tech structures it works with other races

slalker step is SO FRIGGIN HARD! well, its easy to do, but stalker on the nexus outdamages me so fast!
