cant think of any unit besides terran units which can do what marines/marauders can ;o well stalker can but he kinda already automatically shoots on the move, what else? hydras cant, colossus cant... if u do this with colossus u dont deal damage until animation finishes

Colossus deals damage when the animation starts (actually looks a bit too odd imo), so I don't see why you can't do it with them. Thanks for the tool :> Need more micro practice type maps for sc2.

what?! it takes ages for stalker to shoot, you cant start moving until the bolts appear, which takes good .5s

Orb walking isn't even attack animation canceling, but it is the cancellation of the manual cast orb effects, that most of the time have a better animation than normal attacks and don't draw creep aggro

You ever play BW? Dragoons took a year to shoot and if you botched up they would just derp around in circles instead of attacking or moving.

cool map, looks good. I think someone asked earlier without getting a response, its spamming right click move and S right? someone correct me if im wrong but I dont think S will stop the unit from attacking like it does in warcraft

Blizzard nerfed this during the beta. Now you have to wait with the Colossus. Once again, Blizzard likes Terran best. I'd like to say they usually they "fix" these things for visual continuity or balance, although marines running immediately after they fire has a really goofy animation (they start shooting while pumping their guns to run) and certainly does a ton of damage in mass... so who knows.

L canceling is much harder then animation canceling in sc2. the name stutter step makes sense to me, i knew exactly what he was talking about before opening thread
