Well MLG pays him a -hopefully- good money to be part of the organization. Anyone in that situation would have second thoughts spending too much time hyping/promoting another tournament....we don't know how much competition there's behind the scene to attract the money/sponsors/casters/players to each major tournament etc. Maybe that's not the reason and it ain't an issue yet but if e-sports keep on growing, it will come to that someday - there's downsides to pretty much everything.
I don't think that's really it. IPL happened like a month ago... it's just that we are only seeing the results now. I can totally see how players and a show done by players wouldn't really care too much about it. Now if they completely ignore the IPL live event, then you can get your pitchforks out.
No pitchfork involved, I would totally understand that JP would want downplay the whole thing (not saying he does since I don't know the behind the scenes discussions, just that if he does, it's just part of the game/business, no big deal, IPL got plenty of other channels to be discussed anyway)
I don't think that's the reason. Sotg was always talking a lot about MLG, and they forgot a whole GSL finals (you know, the one that one dude won). By the way, it doesn't take an hour anymore to download the episode on itunes. Good stuff!

Meh it covered exactly what I wanted. I didn't even bother watching the IPL season 1 finals and I watch tons of starcraft. I also couldn't be more hyped for the next MLG the price pool might be tiny but the games and everything is so much more awesome.
Great show, and although Idra was on it was fine because when Geoff made fun of him it was pretty funny. But honestly what does Idra contribute other than complaining?

He contribute by being IdrA. He speaks his mind, and says things exactly like he feels it is. People like that can create awesome situations.
Tyler on the other hand, is more of the type "yes, I agree with everyone else. Nothing else to say". Also barely speaks, unless JP directs the focus towards him.
I do like the combo of them all though. Tyler have some interesting point of views at times. I really feel his argument regarding public salaries was strong. Players should know what they deserve.

didnt mean so sound like a dick but its true... you lack professional experience (unless you consider a weekly WoW podcast that was successfully recorded once every 4 or 5 weeks pro xp so to speak)
take it in stride and improve and you wont receive the same criticism again

Yes I know theyre buddies but you can clearly see that artosis doesnt appreciate it.
I think you are delusional. Inc takes jabs at everyone, but it is quite clear that anyone who knows him realizes how light-hearted it is...which is why he's friends with pretty much everyone. It really makes me wonder what kind of friendships (or lack thereof), that people have where they could possibly consider what Inc says as harassment. I think you are dramatically underestimating Artosis' sense of humor if you think he's offended by anything Inc says.

I honestly think that JP's lack of moderation on the last 2 shows is what have made them great. You could argue that going off topic is bad, but that's where the funny stories and conversations happen and that is the best part of the show.(for me)

Appreciate your words (dead on) but robinsa is busy PM'ing me telling me he knows how artosis' feels based on his face and that I am a douche and blah bla blah..
