Do you think there is a reason that ESPN (yea its a big difference but the point is valid) does not use words like rape and nigger? This guy just comes off like a total unprofessional unintellectual douche. But I could argue that your attitude comes off as ultra PC and you're just conforming to the status quo of the word being ~unacceptable~.

Official tournaments is another case though, but this is his personal stream. Anyway this discussion is starting to get tiring...

A fag is englad is a cigarrete yet people use it as a word of hate. Words are only as strong as you let them be. I realise that this is a very hard thing to do but as a society we need to stop letting people hold power over us with words The pen is mightier than the sword. When words no longer hold power, language is meaningless.

This guy just comes off like a total unprofessional unintellectual douche. Well, I would not take that as something so obvious. Because if you just look at the difference between Europe and the US the image of what is professional and not is very different. Yeah maybe the words rape and nigger are extreme examples but as an example, scandinavians in general find it hillarious and childish how tv in the US is bleeped. At least in Sweden it is not and words like fuck etc are while curse words nothing that people raise their eyebrows over when its said on tv. So what language is intellectual or professional is not necessarily universally the same. In fact I actually can't watch bleeped american tv because it is so annoying to me, it completely breaks the flow of a show. Actually this is why Jinro reacted as he did when he said fuck on the artosis interview at the gsl. It did not occur to him that it is actually a strange thing to say that word live.
