Not to say terran doesnt need some nerfs, they do, but I dont think its as bad as people make it out to seem.

Weak argument, complaining Racial imbalances in a game that's few months old is simply hilarious. The fact that having sponsored players in a premature game is simply contradictory. The whole competitive SC2 hype is simply laughable, it took Brood Wars years to balance it out with Kespa maps and become competitive. People are just rushing to be good in SC2 and think they'll become the next Boxer in SC2 since it's new. What a bunch of egocentric idiots. SC2 still needs a lot to work (possibly expansions) to live up the hype of its predecessor's sequel. well, if flash played sc2 he would probably not drop a single game to anyone ever, even if jaedong also switched. I for one don't think defending reaper harass will get easier the better control both players have.

they only thing they have to worry about is a baneling bust (lol) which is stopped with a single scan. Zerg can win, it just requires double the amount of effort on behalf of the zerg player to win, and he isn't alotted as many "mistakes" before it's game over. Playing zerg is kind of like racing a skyline in your moms civic.

See, the most skilled players are also the ones who will play to win at any cost... so many of them will switch to terran, because in SC2 after all the goal is to win games. This leads to a higher concentration of skill among terrans, and lower skill level among zerg. (It's obvious that something is wrong with the TvZ matchup... but I wonder if something like this could be significant or not) This is THE worst excuse for imbalance in competitive games. Worst 2 imo 1. "It is not that X is OP, X just attracts a more mature and skilled player." 2. "X is not OP, Y just doesn't know how to play." Unless you are specifically using that classic cliche for trolling purposes, in which case, you got me...

I may be wrong, as I didn't play BW much, but isn't the situation similar in Brood War? Wall-offs were just as common, and Terran play revolved around turtling in just the same manner. What would be the difference?

He was playing standard on BS and Metalo, but allined on LT and SoW which are obviously unfair for Zerg

Mutas were not denied so easily, turrets used to take 13 hits to kill one, now it is 7, and trying to harass while a thor is sitting inside a T's base with SCV's at the ready to repair is suicide.

If you actually watched him play for more than a few tournament games you would realize that he will only "all in" on maps where he knows he has a severe disadvantage. ie. lost temple. most of the time he plays standard.

I would also like to add that Zerg could contain with lurkers as well!
