Idra and Dimaga are winning some amazing games, but they have to start each and every one by fighting off reapers, hellions, or banshees (or some mix thereof). I can't think of one game where the Z player was the first to apply pressure at the other player's main. There was one game against tarson iirc that idra stole gas and ended it pretty early with a ling/roach push.

I can't think of one game where the Z player was the first to apply pressure at the other player's main. That's because thats how the matchup works. Have you ever played TvZ where you tried to be passive and slow expand? IT DOESN'T WORK. You'll get so outdroned it's silly, by like.. 3:1 ratio. A terran HAS to apply pressure all game long, HAS to hurt economy and keep on doing so, otherwise he's screwed. If it goes to late game zerg has an inherent advantage. Terran wants to end it before late game for that very reason.

See the game of Idra v Tarson on Xel'Naga, Tarson went mech, and Idra demolished it with mass muta. This tournament isn't proving anything. If anything it would only prove that the 2 BEST Zerg players can actually beat terrans. Doesn't mean it's an even match.

Or maybe IdrA is just on a level all on his own and would win every time with races removed. Just because he is able to overcome a potential race imbalance doesn't make the races perfect. I think it lends a lot of credence to the idea that it is not as dire as made out to be, but tournament results do nothing other than prove the best players, not the equality of races. By this thinking, Protoss is UP because they didn't advance out of groups but I don't think anyone would argue that.

Then, when they win, the game is still broken because hey; they're gods. So disrespectful to all the terran players that practice alot and put their all into the game. So fucking arrogant. Perhaps. but both IdrA and DIMAGA have better merits than Tarson and Morrow, meaning they are better players.

Dimaga and Idra are much more established than Tarson or Morrow.

Take a look at just how much work Dimaga and IdrA have had to do just to scrape by surviving early game. Also, how can you not notice that EVERY TvZ in this tournament has been dictated by the T? Every single time, the T chooses what the Zerg needs to do.

I guess Zergs want it balanced around Plat level play? But after that patch this tournament would have been all Zergs eh.

I like what iNcontroL said during TLA:S3E2... "yeah you just need to play 15 hours a day, have 300APM which translates to like 550 sc1 apm and then yeah...you can beat terran"
