Obviously a damage buff was what Ultras needed, I mean everyone has been complaining that they just don't do enough damage, Blizzard really nailed it this time!

Terran buffs were completely necessary to keep them competitive also. I mean look, their buildings cost too much, ok?

PS Frenzy is just awesome I can't wait to use it on... uh.. Broodlords.

Idk those things already died to corruptors pretty fast already, tho only things I would use corruption on are thors or ultras and with the HP nerf its not really needed on ultras now either. Individual units die too fast in SC for abilities like this to be worth it.

I wonder if frenzy can be cast on a MCd unit without undoing the control.

What 10 infestors could do is not be there, so you can make more hydras, and just keep a few infestors to fungal growth which is an actually OK spell. Hydras die way too fast to waste a single target spell on them.

First think of the ridiculous amount of tech/upgrades and now spell synergy necessary to make Ultras MAYBE KINDA useful (as drops or burrow surprises because in a straight up army confrontation they will still get rolled).

Then listen to Blizztard bawwww about Terran building costs and make upgrades cheaper for MMM.

Spawn Broodling was used to take out Tanks and Templar quite often, and Ensnare was brutal agains M&M. D Matrix was also the shit, definitely turning the tide of more than one battle...

This patch makes me think the devs are playing a totally different game than us.

I rageposted this last night and its still pretty accurate:
This makes me think that the balance managers don't actually play the game, but just watch the whining on the forums. Nerf to VRs is fine, Frenzy on Infestors, fine.

Now, Zerg is the most powerful macro race in the game right now, but you just gave them the ability to absolutely wreck any protoss ground army by spamming ultras and walking straight over force fields or any attempt at micro that Protoss can use, AND you give them the ability to use the EXTREMELY early and cheap (cost wise) Overseer to completely destroy the macro potential of the other player is @!!@ing ridiculous. Fly 3 Overseers into base early, %#%@ on all producing structures, set person behind 30 seconds while you macro up and maybe lose 1 Overseer.

The balancing of the Ultra is also stupid, their power is in their ability to ABSORB AOE DAMAGE, something not even the roach can claim. They beat Psi Storm, Colossi, Tanks, etc, so you're taking away the ONE THING THEY'RE GOOD AT then give them the ridiculous ability to walk over force fields and @!!@ up their damage for no good reason.

What the HELL is the idea with making Stimpack cheaper? You think it was an under-utilized ability or that Terran bio was underused/underpowered?

ARE WE PLAYING THE SAME @!!@ING GAME?

I like that Blizz has the balls to implement these extreme changes this late in the beta (especially with the upcoming few week beta hiatus, which means there will be even less time to test these changes), but I really wish they stopped making these minor "buff" abilities.

Oh, and they also should get rid of shitty summoner abilities as well.Auto-Turret and infested terran are just BAD.

Concussive shells is a snare. Ultralisk + creep + frenzy = panic sets in for infantry. I can see ultralisks doing a lot better, now.
