If you'd actually read interviews with dustin browder you'd realize that NO, they don't have access to those kinds of statistics. They just have really basic stupid stats like which race has X winrate etc

It'll be interesting to see what TvP has to offer now that Marauders are making a small comeback for lower concussion costs, and Immortals taking longer to build. What I'm more interested though is how will Protoss mix it up now that stalker/immortal/sentry is a fair composition to use normally now. It seems like Immortals must be used more situationally and preserved more with their hard shields as ghosts pwn those shields instantly

Looks pretty interesting to me, nice to see some more maps and the additions to battle.net. As far as balance changes go, I play terran. Updating now (just got home from work).

I would really like to see blizzard put in an upgrade for the immortal, maybe allowing it to hit two targets at once via robo facility upgrade; allowing the protoss to add templar tech without having to spend every ounce of gas just go defend against the endless supply of roaches a zerg can throw at you mid game. It already has the two projectile arms...

Looks like a terrible patch. The immortal timing nerf was unnecessary.
Fungal growth isn't going to be as interesting now if you can't dodge it. No more kooky interesting queen play.

its to kinda be in to coorelation with the terran's raven's auto-turret. except the raven's splash dmg is upgrade-only. you can put the turret down to help kill off any units in the red with it. same with fungal and infested terrans

why? it was painfully slow off the creep to begin with. now you actually HAVE to use creep tumor instead of it just kinda being a good idea. probably encourage you to build extra queens early on too since you'll be losing those extra few shots on scouting overlords and such, which translate into having extra queens for creep tumor and transfusion down the road. not that some people weren't doing that anyway.

Well the buffs to concussive shells research and infested terran are definitively welcome, and like other posters said, the nerf to immortals can be seen as a buff for Zerg players, Now I think that we are getting very close to a real balance between Immos, Roaches, and Marauders.
