Another thing to add Why bother going mech when its so easy to go marauder ghost? More mobile, more damage, easier to transition to from 4 rax FE IHMO they should make it easier for all the races to FE so that it doesn't become a 1 base slugfest for the first 8 minutes of the game. Before 4raxFE, it was basically if toss FE, then terran rolls him with 1 base, and if terran FE, then toss rolls over with 1 base PvZ was almost similar until zergs started going for the 6 sunken line to counter 1 base all in toss, and until toss discovered 12gate forge FE (with a MASSIVE simcity wall lol) Now we get to see some variety, though it will take a while before tosses get used to FE as standard (especially given our current map pool) Whilst all this is great, current map pool absolutely sucks. Desert oasis, scrapyard station need to go. Metalopolis is really Z favoured because Z can FE and toss cant... Blistering sands is stupid because it negates any kind of natural defence, so FE is impossible to defend vs 1 base agression If we get to see more longer macro games (where both players dont make it there with exploitable builds and only using standard play) then we get to have much better insight on how to balance the game long term TVZ i know v little about (other than its fun to watch koreans) PVP and TVT are both really fun Still think the ramp is too difficult to defend, should be easier to def Also think that the whole mara/immortal/roach (in that order) is still warping the game too much but hey thats just my opinion edit: oh i dont actually think much of the patch rly. obv aprotoss nerf. Zerg changes are pretty minor. concussion changes nothing it is sitll the same as before mostly. Maybe its possible to do some 2 rax proxy mara cheese or something but i doubt it affect the game much | ||

As someone said, 16 Infested Terrans will be able to do a ton of damage before they die. According to this table: http://darkblizz.org/Forum2/general-discussion/complete-starcraft-2-beta-units-stats/?action=dlattach;attach=534 It'll take 16 Infested Terrans 13 shots a piece to kill a Nexus. With an attack rate of 0.8608, it'll take them 11 seconds to kill the thing, and then they live for another 9... That is some seriously dangerous harassment power right there. To put it into perspective, that's how long it would take FIVE Dark Templar to kill the same building. | ||
