Is anyone waiting for the game to go through more stages of development and playing other games instead?

I'm putting a TON of hours into trying to get my Golbat to evolve into a Crobat =P

Yeah I do realise thors 1 shotted hydras before, but i was getting carapace to stop that, now that doesn't work, as well as me having to deal with thors popping out so much faster.

I am sticking with Z, but honestly I just think that these are the wrong combination of changes to make.

ok, played a couple games, mech is just trash still, works vs bad zergs and in TvT thats it, try going any mech against P and ur toast, same as before.... fuck I hate the immortal, most imba unit in this game...and has dodged the nerfbat every patch W T F ?

ye I have been doing that. but tanks are just so retarded, I have to micro them like they are my children (their AI must be the worst in this game, blizz fix their priorities plz..) or they will shoot some useless unit or a unit that is close to another tank and splash his friend to death.

most of the losses Ive gotten off extremly wellplaced EMPS (ps. not very hard with cloak) and still got steamrolled. if you go tanks you just letting him expand, no way you can stop it.
im fine with marauders having their slow be an upgrade, but 80 seconds? all races have some rush except terran... whenever im up against T. I can expand fast without having to worry about rush...no fun.

that strikecannon also works beautifully on immos
feedback just got more interesting :p
rock is fine.. paper could need a buff, but scissors have to be nerfed

I just have to add another thing, it seems that blizz is encouraging the use off most units in your army for it to be optimized, marines + marauders + medevacs, tanks ghosts, thors...etc etc.
but they havent took into consideration that they all share different upgrades, unlike zerg and protoss. ;E that was np in scbw because you went either or. mech or bio. realisticlly you cant upgrade both if you want an army. just saying, Im a bit steamed right now but I think my points r still valid

reapers are crap rushers, the are harassers only. its not very effecient to make more than a couple of those expensive/slowtrained units if you plan on winning.
maybe if you read the entire posts instead of just one line before you respond.

Roaches got too much nerfed. It's not even fun.
The main units for z were hydras and roaches and to an additionnal content zerglings. But now that roaches can't even tank, it becames really hard to rely on them.
This patch is seriously bullshit sorry.
I mean i wasn't really against a roach nerf but when you guys will realise that marauders are really fucking powerfull mid late game ? The upgrade changed nothing really.
Clearly i'm laughing my ass off because my marauders still have stim and they can rape zerg more than ever. Glings / blings ? Np i scout you my wall of rax is here for you. Plz say hi to hellion.
The patch did only 1 good thing : now marauders will have a harder time against protoss but that's about it.

i dont see any issue in zvt apart from the possiblity of mech being hard to deal with, and completely impossible to counter on Kulas.
Mutaling was always superior to hydra/roach anyway.
The zvp is definitely a huge problem. It doesnt seem per se imbalanced, just the skill roof is 10x higher for zerg. U have to get everything perfect while all P has to do is click the F button over and over.

How is this different from SC1? While TvP was basically Factor vs. Protoss, both TvZ and TvT involved support from other areas. SK Terran was all about M&M yes, but it also involved DropShips and most importantly Vessels. TvT often involved tons of DropShip play.

MMM in SC2 just requires one StarPort. That's all. Yes, you could get ship plating upgrades, but that's hardly required. Bringing Ghosts with your Mech is likewise not a burden, as the Ghosts are there for EMP, not for their damage or armor.

Things get more complicated with more complete combinations, like Marines and Thors. But even Terrans in SC1 pulled this off; M&M with Siege Tank support was a functional build vs. Zerg. They seemed to manage the task of upgrading everything just fine.
