yeah, the mainstay unit of zerg that appeared in pretty much every game is pretty much never going to be used again due to a medium hp reduction.

Considering i've never had burrowed roachs roam into my base, im not that thrilled about that change, but 2 armour to 1 is pretty huge. immortal now 3 shot roaches with +1 right? 54-108-162. Also immortals now 4-shot hydra with +1 compared to 5 previously. +1 immo push will be the std protoss timing attack during this patch i guarantee it.

immo 3 shot roach w/o upgrades now (pre-patch was 4) (almost no dmg wasted) even with regen

The void rays kill queens a lot faster now but, and it's a big but when killings queens, if you now manually move the void ray (to move it closer to the queen to stop its escape) it will stop shooting.

Well, i'm just trying to count all those ways one could understand it.

Such as "Hey I'm a medium player but had badass stats becuz of Zerg"
or "Hey I'm so sad, I was badly overrated and now started meeting good opponents"
or "I only met Terrans before Patch and now I'm getting mirrors where I get pwned because I'm actually a worse player"

Well I don't mean to actually insult you but 11-1 to 12-9 stats doesn't say anything.

Right now im kinda enjoying the patch though I hope to figure out one day if a baneling zerg is beatable However, I think that Marauder fix is the one thing every toss hoped for and it seems pretty good for me right now. Guess I'm gonna try some crazy things against Zerg right now as I really could never figure how terran could win with having one base for a long time while zerg goes fast expand to mutas against it. I guess I can start to fix my previous anti-zerg-desperation now with some early thor or tanks stuff.

it always stopped shooting if you moved it so its not facing the target. if it faces the target exactly the same does it still stop shooting when moving?

You do realise that 2x45 makes 90 and killed a hydralisk in one burst before as well? Only thing changed is that terran doesn't need to make weapon upgrade for it against zergs trying to upgrade carapace.
And you should actually start considering that -1 armor is not as much of a nerf as you possibly think it was. Zealots still won't be a great choice, Marauders and Immortals just need one less hit if you don't have an armor upgrade.

Also, you can't just say "omg 10 hp less??", you should rather go and compare what it actually means. It doesn't necessarily makes it so much worse in every situation. For example, ok it's bad against marauders because they now need one hit less. but against Tanks it won't be much of a difference since tanks only deal 60-75 (depending on upgrades ofc) damage. Also it's few of a change against Thors. And Marines will still suck against roaches. For hellions, neither of those nerfs will make a huge difference as they will still have no whatsoever chance on roaches and still need the same amount of hits against hydras.
Ok now it's not everything about how many hits one unit needs to take another as there will be different units on the field, but really 10 hp can be overrated sometimes.

I like how people are crying about the nerfs in the patches (which are pretty minor considering past patches...storm nerf anybody?) and it haven't even been up a day yet.

So you get owned by fast tech thor because there is noooooothing zerg could ever consider to do against it, hu?
Also, if someone goes fast thor his upgrade didn't finish so long after thor pops out and ofc it only matters if zerg teched carapace very early on.

I only played two ZvZs for now (Platinum), but one of them was really fun.

It was Zergling into Zergling / Baneling into Roach / Zergling into Muta (wich endet the game )
Roaches really do suck against lings in early game, but if you get the chance to build some to block your choke you can safely pump some drones. I guess this doesnt work on maps with wide chokes tho.
Later in the game with big armys Roaches obviously get stronger.
I cant tell about Hydra vs Muta for now, but my first impression is that this patch was a great improvement for ZvZ.
