The changes seem reasonable, even though I am quite sure there are a ton of changes to come. Not sure what to think about blizz not removing carriers, as they just don't really have a role. They can be employed in late-late game pvp, which is very gimmicky even then, and in pvz they get totally smashed by fungal and corruptors, not to mention that the new tempest will completely outshine the carrier in fighting lategame pvz broodlord armies, so basically the tempest is just an better version of the carrier in its role. I am hoping to see some changes in the beloved carrier : 3 | ||

" which means it might come back. but then maybe have a armory requiermet or cost 200-200 or take up 3-4 suply. Nice though that the carrier is back. such a vital unit in the late game against zerg. I personally think that the Tempest should have a Air splash dmg instead of 30+massive. it still cost 300-300 which is alot... make it 30 dmg to ground and 30+ splash against air and it would become a very usefull unit. | ||

Short-ranged units require a lot of positioning and control to be effective, because without it, most of them will be unable to fight in any given engagement. That's Zealots and Archons. Stalkers are the antithesis of an 'A-move' unit. They're very weak fighters for their cost, but can make up for it with mobility (i.e. micro). Immortals/Colossi are kinda boring. No disagreement there. They benefit significantly from a bit of target-firing and repositioning during battle, but... not very microable. | ||

I approve of these changes. I hope Terran gets an interesting and dynamic replacement for the warhound and that the carrier is also redesigned. Right now they're not cost or time efficient tech options except vs mass infestors since they can't be fungaled very easily. | ||
