I think people just see "Warhound removed" and think OMG Terran is terrible now in all ways. Terran was the most complete race in WoL and their harass and mech both got buffed even without the warhound. The reaper is essentially a new unit for terran now.

I am kinda sad that protoss will seemingly not get any new units to combat mutas, they are very hard to counter with the current units and buildings available.

The changes seem reasonable, even though I am quite sure there are a ton of changes to come. Not sure what to think about blizz not removing carriers, as they just don't really have a role. They can be employed in late-late game pvp, which is very gimmicky even then, and in pvz they get totally smashed by fungal and corruptors, not to mention that the new tempest will completely outshine the carrier in fighting lategame pvz broodlord armies, so basically the tempest is just an better version of the carrier in its role. I am hoping to see some changes in the beloved carrier : 3

Just give siege tanks their old damage and we are all good, make hellion in its quick mode shoot fireballs(vultures) and put widow mines on hellions, even of we have to pay to lay down one, Terran mech = solved

The oracle actually seems pretty cool now, i still wish protoss had a real harassment unit though. I also cant fathom why protoss needs two capital ships, esp when the carrier is the one thats easy to use.

Also can we please habe the lurker back, i hate the swarm host

which means it might come back. but then maybe have a armory requiermet or cost 200-200 or take up 3-4 suply.

Nice though that the carrier is back. such a vital unit in the late game against zerg.

I personally think that the Tempest should have a Air splash dmg instead of 30+massive. it still cost 300-300 which is alot... make it 30 dmg to ground and 30+ splash against air and it would become a very usefull unit.

Depends which 'old damage' one means. Their old old damage was 35/70, which would be fierce.

Short-ranged units require a lot of positioning and control to be effective, because without it, most of them will be unable to fight in any given engagement. That's Zealots and Archons.

Stalkers are the antithesis of an 'A-move' unit. They're very weak fighters for their cost, but can make up for it with mobility (i.e. micro).

Immortals/Colossi are kinda boring. No disagreement there. They benefit significantly from a bit of target-firing and repositioning during battle, but... not very microable.
My strategy is to fork people.

I don't mind Protoss having two capital ships - the Tempest design right now looks good to me if only for the fact that *maybe* late game PvP won't devolve into kolossuz ball warz (and for causing BL/infestor some annoyance - 15 range is still pretty good), and Carriers with a bit of tweaking can be excellent late-game army pivot for DPSing (and maybe sniping expansions with recall).

ALLELEIUAH PRAISE DAT LORD.

I approve of these changes. I hope Terran gets an interesting and dynamic replacement for the warhound and that the carrier is also redesigned. Right now they're not cost or time efficient tech options except vs mass infestors since they can't be fungaled very easily.
