Wol terran and Hots terran basically look identical right now, they need to add a unit to mech that will make mech as good as bio or bio/mech. Right now, bio and bio/mech is better than straight mech. The reason people use mech is because mistakes aren't punished as much as in bio and bio/mech. Would be sad if they released Terran with a modified hellion, some stupid mines and a Reaper that can shoot up though. Protoss air is ridonkulous. Many games could be entirely based on air units, fast harassment, spellcasters, teching up to air siege, carriers, recall all over the place. Protoss just became more tactical and more strategic. Zerg seems a bit boring actually in comparison, they get a decent air unit in Viper, good but boring defense unit or push unit and the burrowing Ultras attack but kind of meh. Protoss just crashed the HotS party with two hot call girls on each arm and buying the whole room Crystal Champagne. | ||

They killed sentries and stalkers so fast it was wasn't funny. Every opening was fast chargelots. FE and you die. Supply wise 2 is rather low for WH. WH maxed army higher than the Toss army by 20%! Of course P have to make air to counter this WH but this is too difficult in early game. Air is good for Toss now. Carrier with some tweaks even better but will be quite OP in multiplayer IMO. Already quite badass with recall[ican imagine] | ||

That's mech. mech should be formidable and difficult to break. it shouldn't be impossible to break. think of broodlord infestor corruptor. it's essentially equivalent of mech for zerg, but while it's formidable and difficult to break, it's not impossible. if you have mass tank, air is the only viable response. (i challenge you to crash any 200/200 protoss ground army into mass tank. the result isn't close. well, maxed pure immortal almost does okay, but tanks still win handily.) then, if you have an abundance of anti-air weaponry, the fight is just hopeless. i'm only speculating, since we haven't seen how it would play out, but it sounds like a bad idea to me. i could be wrong. | ||
