Warhounds were kind of too good against everything (like a stimmed roach...) in the beginning, so blizzard nerfed them quite hard by simply giving them lower DPS. Seemed fair. It's still good at what it's intended to do, which is to be a mech unit that can counter immortals and stalkers. However, they are bad against zealots and archons. Really bad, they do not stand a chance, as Whitera demonstrates in his stream in every TvP. So blizzard removes it, really badly nerfs the battle hellion (we need to make an armoury and research it? So this is like making fucking broodlords now? So what does terran have that is mech to counter zealots? TvP is going to be boring same old bio that gets raped by storms and colossi. Hope the warhound returns soon.

We'd just like to point out once more that we're a lot more loose with patching in the beta in order to get faster turn around in balance testing. We can reduce weeks of time in bringing out patches for the beta this way. Immortal change in our patch notes was a mistake. Mothership Core build time is indeed a change we're going out with today. But we feel getting the changes in faster and testing the balance of HotS as best as possible is much more important. We have not changed our thinking when doing patches for our live game, but this is just something we're doing especially in the earlier stages of the beta in order to be the most efficient with balance testing. http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/forum/topic/6571627434?page=2#35

"Raven’s Seeker Missile once again costs 125 energy." Why? SkyTerran wasn't that good and now...

Only suggests that the warhound will return in some shape or form. But inb4avilogetsmad regardless.

Removing the warhound is the greatest change that could possibly happen, it would kill modern TvT and it would be just another a-move shit unit. So glad they removed it. I'm a bit scared of it all though, what will us terrans get now? Spider mines have potential, battle hellions are awesome for mech but there's still something missing I think.

But immortal shields own mech, because they only have slow attacking units, guess its back to adding ghosts into mech again >.< . Still alot of changes they'll have to do though, but they are getting there. Don't like some of the ways units evolve too.

And to all the people saying "Terran is dead now" recognize that they plan on readding a Terran unit, they just want feedback on what that unit should be so they can come up with a less boring, potentially more helpful design.
