What happened to Mozgov? He double doubles and then doesn't play the rest of the game?

Cleveland is just getting stuff done with a Lebron offence and really committed D. Delly was amazing. Funny he dived onto the floor again and is not dirty this time because no one is injured.

Mozgov hasn't been playing late in the game for basically the entire playoffs. I know matchups play into it, but as a Cavs fan I'm not sure I agree with the decision. I think I'm willing to accept some of the failings he'd have on defense relative to Thompson to have his offensive game which is non-zero and involved more than him setting a screen and then retreating into the lane hoping for an offensive board which he doesn't even put back up for points unless it's a 100% no doubt dunk. Edit: I'm still super nervous for the long term of this series though. Cavs rotation is 7 guys because it has to be now, not because they're choosing it to be. Both teams have guys that played massive minutes these first two games, but the Cavs have no realistic options to bring in for anyone that is gassed, while the Warriors could ask for some more from Livingston, Ezili, and Speights and get some relatively quality contribution if needed.

Or was that just Steph mindgaming himself?

It was kinda missed but after Green made that huge block Curry really stuffed up by dropping Iggy's save. If he just holds that ball it's likely a three point lead with Cleveland ball. It really just summed up how tough a night that was for Steph. He'll have a lot to prove in game 3.

If Iggy had been able to grab the ball before it even threatened to go out of bounds though, Curry wouldn't have had to screw up that save.

Anyway just curious lol. Or is it just one of those things where the answer for any given player is more or less dependent on whether you like him? Also off reddit: Dellavedova went from being undrafted, to on the bench for the cavs, to starting when Irving was injured, to shutting down the MVP. Dellavedova is the ultimate nba2k myplayer lmao

He is just #1 that a casual fan will see because the other major floppers either have lower usage, win less, or both. Also his complaining/flopping is harder to defend (to a casual) than a guy like CP3 or Harden because he looks like he should just plow through people and that he seems to initiate a ton of contact followed by flopping/crying about the pushback.

I don't remember him setting a billion screens during the regular season to build easy teammate grade, obviously not a 2K myplayer =p Good on ball screen. Good off ball screen. Good off ball screen. Set screen that leads to score. A+

It was funny this missed foul call should've been a travel too. The refs let a little too much go sometimes ![]()

I've always complained about his poor mindset throughout the years on this forum but he is officially over that this season. I'm really rooting for him these playoffs. Yeah, he's really matured after all these years. Seems like he's completely comfortable in tough situations. I mean, dude is in his fifth straight finals...I'm hoping by now he's had enough experience.

The "LeBron is the GOAT" bullshit has also died which takes off a lot of pressure of him. I think it's the first time in his career that he doesn't have to play worrying that someone will call him a scrub if he misses a shot. So yeah, he has matured a lot but the lesser amount of pressure has certainly helped. Edit: Sorry, my browser went crazy and I ended up double posting.
