It's only 79°F in Dortmund according to weather.com and they needed a water break for that?
|
According to our commentator it's more like 86°F in the stadium. I guess it's not needed but if both teams agreed on it because they didn't want to risk anything why not? e: in the end everybody counts it as the first official match but it's not really huge

doesnt it have more to do with humidity anyway?

west germany is a sauna atm so i guess so

Its not a uncommon thing to make a water break. You have to remember that it is way hotter inside the stadium you can see how much the players are sweating.
to the game: I think the first half was pretty even with a little advantage for Bayern because in pre season games the result doesn´t really matter and Bayern looks better offensivly.

Hm no wonder Europeans seem so hesitant to join MLS clubs they could well pass out during the months of June, July, August and early September when playing in the Southwest.

i think that's a lot for german standards during this daytime, overall the weather is pretty "sticky" here currently.

haha. yeah it's horrible. you can drink as much beer as you want, you don't get drunk since you sweat it all out immediately. in munich we had 37°C today and i don't think there'll be any way to sleep in this heat as long as you're not drunk enough to pass out. i'll keep going :D
btw: if there's one team that knows how to play against bayern, it's dortmund.
