how is it possible Washington is up ... 2-0
wait... wait... i have it.. here.. this gets me out of every incorrect statement...
"small sample size"
i took 4 statistics courses at the University of Waterloo so my "small sample size" comments are officially certified by the Society of Actuaries.
1. Washington might come from an easy division, but no one can ignore their ginormous turn around. 2. In Ovie's early days he would disappear from monumental games. Over the last few years, he's been much better than in the past. It's more visible in his play even if he doesn't make the score sheet. 3. Low scoring affairs. Lundquist showed up to play. Cannot say the same for the rest of the Rangers. Nash has only so many playoff appearances and going into this series I sort of figured he'd be slow out of the gate. Dude needs to use his size more to get to the net.

Imlach won 4 cups with the leafs... so i get them putting him in there... i guess King Clancy must've been some kind of important manager guy or somethin'
they showed Joe Thornton bleeding... his wife must've punched him in the face before the game.
wanted: goalie who does not shit the bed in playoffs will pay top dollar - pittsburgh penguins
vokoun needs to start game 4 regardless of whether the pens win this game in the end. fleury once again allowing incredibly soft goals. this should really be 4-1 pens instead of going into OT. first 2 isles goals soooo soft and the tying goal to make it 4-4 pretty damn soft too.

Shots are 34/19 for the islanders. Pretty sure more then just MAF is sucking.

thats a typical penguins game they get horribly outshot
go look at their regular season game stats, going by that standard the penguins sucked all year but managed somehow to win 36 games.
difference is fleury is once again shitting the bed in the playoffs
play vokoun let him clear the crease with his ice-shattering farts
