Also, way to go Wild. You rode Backstrom so hard just to make the playoffs you broke him. And while its great to see Harding overcome his battles to put in solid performances the guy hasnt played in about a year now, what a lousy way to be welcomed back "Hey, welcome back, youll face the number 1 team in the NHL, well good luck" To be fair we've been playing on borrowed time for this whole season. Suter and parise changed the entire team and they had the lockout to come back to. Just as we were getting good too pomenville comes and ruins the first lines experience playing together.
To top off this horribly practiced and fresh faced team all around we finaly get to the playoffs for the first time in a long long time. Next year is going to be a much different year in Minnesota, skys the limit.

Nice job, Vancouver. Way to take a stupid penalty and kill your momentum.

Pominville wasn't a problem; we were tanking the season before we made the trade for Pominville.
As for potential, well, we just don't have enough depth at the moment. We're going to need to get some in the off season and, while that's very doable, it's not guaranteed.

penguins played like poop
you cant play for only the first ten minutes and the last ten minutes and expect to win
islanders were winning too many battles hustling harder very disappointing performance outside of crosby

Man, Sharks could easily be up 4-0 right now.

Good to see Islanders wake up in time for this game. They outplayed Pitt for just about the whole thing, aside from the first 10 minutes. Makes me look forward to going to game 4 ^.^.

The Canucks choke against teams with heart, but the Sharks are just as heartless. Look at this game, should be up 4-0 instead coast into a 1-0 lead, start taking dumb penalities, start passing past each other. Sharks will lose in 5 or 6. Thoroton/Marleau dont have the extra gear they need to win and Cotour cant do it alone.

Sedins in the defensive zone why? Sad to say they're wiping out kesler's clutchness =.=
|
let me check Roberto Luongo's career playoff save percentage before i figure out exactly how much he sucks. /rant
Luongo used to be a very good goalie.. now he is slightly above average. but in the Stanley Cup playoffs .. "slightly above average" doesn't cut it... and for some teams.. . you can't even hold onto your status as 1st stringer when you're only "slightly above average".
|
he always had a weak five hole. The blame is on AV for having Sedins trying to play defense -- they were never good at it but the last 3-4 years they are just awful at it -- and the Canucks starting to flail around. The Sharks will still choke, their passes arent that crisp and only their 3rd and 4th lines are going hard at the net.

at least he can still make money on those plumbing commercials
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
awesome 2 on 1 ! ! ! !
|
Trololol, nice goal by Torres
|
Canucks are dead now. That was disappointing as hell to see.
|
Hahaha! It just had to be fucking Torres. I can't even tell you how much Sharks fans still hate him, even though he is now "our son of a bitch."

Jay and Dan...
