vokoun needs to start game 4 regardless of whether the pens win this game in the end. fleury once again allowing incredibly soft goals. this should really be 4-1 pens instead of going into OT. first 2 isles goals soooo soft and the tying goal to make it 4-4 pretty damn soft too.
Shots are 34/19 for the islanders. Pretty sure more then just MAF is sucking.
thats a typical penguins game they get horribly outshot
go look at their regular season game stats, going by that standard the penguins sucked all year but managed somehow to win 36 games.
difference is fleury is once again shitting the bed in the playoffs
play vokoun let him clear the crease with his ice-shattering farts
1438 Shots for. 1403 Shots against during the regular season. 21 wins out shooting 14 wins being outshot (1 win with even shots)
162 Goals for and 116 goals against. .916 S% for Flurey, .919 S% for Vokoun. Thats not a horribly out shot team. They outshot their opponent in the majority of their games (26) and got outshot 21 times.
Goaltending and defence didn't get Pittsburgh to first in the east. Offence did. All their defencive stats are terrible.
really, we can define MAF by his career playoff save percentage and need no other information.
the QMJHL is a really low scoring league where every one adheres to their defensive systems so his stats in that league are meaningless.
Mario Lemieux only lets crap players live with him...
Those games against Philly in 2009... really .. he just got lucky.. it is only a small sample size of games in the playoffs where he has been any good.
Dan Bylsma, Mario Lemieux and Ray Shero really know nothing about goaltending and clearly can't see that Vokoun is better than MAF hands down.

.910S% regular season, .905S% playoffs
Why do people seem to think he suddenly plays worse during the playoffs? A .005% difference is microscopic. What you are getting is exactly as advertised during the regular season

relax man.. i'm trolling. MAF runs hot and cold... when he is hot he is the best there is.
The "Q" is a great training ground for goalies because its a very offense oriented league. Which is why Fleury went #1 over all.
but, like a said before my "small sample size" comments are officially certified by the Society of Actuaries because i took 4 statistics courses at the UNiversity of Waterloo's Faculty of Mathematics.
How many Universities have an entire FACULTY of Math? if that isn't proof i dont know what is.
There are currently 5 players on each bench.. rofl.
Okay, the Habs have 6 now. Here comes another penalty. God, the penalty minutes are starting to get ridiculous. Now the TWO ROOKIES ARE FIGHTING. Hohoho!
