Yeah skinny jeans do not go with weightlifting at all. Quads are way sexier than skinny jeans anyway imo.

Uhm, bad hygiene is bad for your health, so unless you plan to use steel wool or something to scrub your skin instead, I suggest just using the stuff.

Legs were still sore as shit from squatting on thursday. Went to the gym regardless to deadlift, and while I didn't do as well as I had hoped (pretty bad workout overall), I definitely feel better right now than I did before, and I'm still glad decided to man up and go. Did some decent weight, mid-volume pulling. Ran into a buddy who's just coming back (he has two herniated disks), and worked with him on deadlifting form - me using a bar and weights, him using a broomstick. He said by the time we were done that the motion felt better to him than it used to - "more stable, safe, like I'm picking it up instead of hoping that I can pull it"

Got a lift in that was not bad enough to make me pissed, but not good enough to get me excited, and did my weightlifting good deed for the week. Worthwhile.

i dont use soap and shampoo. much easier

i dont feel any different using soap or not using soap. shampoo needed getting used to but its worth it not putting chemicals on yourself.

hopefully my BO and greasy hair clears up and doesnt get worse lol. Everything i've been reading says your body will eventually self regulate itself, and things wil be horrays but not so far =O (3days)

Just more hippie paleo stuff, personally I don't use the stuff anyway. I often shower 3 times a day though (morning, post workout, before bed), which, depending on who you talk to is also bad for you.

I don't want to knock something before I try it but when I sweat I really smell, I need soap.

I can understand no shampoo if you have short hair, I mean my brother has short hair and just uses shower gel. My hair goes straw like and big without shampoo/conditioner.

Soap itself isn't mandatory, what matters is doing something to stay clean. Soap is convenient, IMO.

From what I understand shampoo, strips all the oils from your hair. My hair feels softer without shampoo now. I don't smell any different either so I'm guessing it depends on the person.

I'm actually not sure what soap does, do you just need it as abrasive against your skin? I never felt like it did anything so I just stopped. My skin is less dry now, but that might be because of my diet change.

I also stopped using toothpaste and just started using baking soda. :O

Try using conditioner in your hair after the shampoo. Feels softer without being all oily. Oily hair drives me fucking batshit, feels gross.

I've been REALLY dirty before, so for me, being really clean is a luxury. I use the same sort of fancy body washes, shampoo, and conditioner type shit as my wife does, and I have since before I met her.

Also, your opinion of how you smell will always be inaccurate. It's much easier to smell someone else's odors than your own. Just like smokers don't really notice the smell of smoke that much, certainly not in the same way.

I don't know about not using soap, but when my hair isn't buzzcut I'll usually only shampoo it every 2-3 days, since I've found it makes it "feel healthier".

Anyway: Decent workout today:
squat - 1x5 80kg, 100kg, 120kg, 1x2 140kg, 1x1 162.5kg. I wanted to get at least a double, but I had a really crappy day travel wise so I guess it's ok. Also, last Thursday I wasn't really positive about my depth, this time I'm 100% sure I went below parallel.
BP - 1x5 47.5kg, 60kg, 75kg, 1x3 85kg, 2x2 97.5kg. Pretty pleased with that, I'm feeling very confident about getting 100kg for at least a rep on Thursday.
Weighted chin ups - 3x3 bw+37.5kg. Pretty standard.

I also weighed myself on Friday. I'm somewhere between 70-70.5kg, so I have about 3-3.5kg to lose. I'm debating whether or not I should do another run of Clen (Am I allowed to discuss clen here? It's not a steroid, but I'm still not sure) to make sure I get there before I go on a cruise in September.

I'd say you can discuss whatever you want, steroids or no - but you would have to understand that almost everyone else has no experience in the matter.
