I skipped introductory cycle, if you are squatting heavy before there is no need to do it. I did check I could do 85%x5x3 before starting though.
Anyways, smolov day 1: Squat: 122.5kgx9x4
Felt light tbh, making 9 reps is hard because us powerlifters cant count beyond 5 (no joke here lol). Just gassed a bit but nothing too draining :p. Also given I'm doing upper body on separate days, I spent like 50 mins in the gym which is fucking weird.

Yeah but you forget, you'd be marrying a guy. And guys always want to have sex.
Makes me wonder how gay people ever get stuff done.

For the record, gay people have the exact same argument(s) as straight couples. A friend of mine is doing the exact same thing with his boyfriend except there's less yelling. However, it's essentially the same thing.

And statements like that are why gays can't catch a break from overbearing zealots like my parents and their friends, who think AIDS is god's cure for gay.

Don't misunderstand me. All I'm saying is that if I had a partner who wanted to do it as much as I do, I wouldn't get anything done.

Happened to me twice last week. I was doing my reps, focusing on form and stuff.
Forgot which rep I was, ended up doing like 5-6 (on my heavy triples) lol.

3 mo into ss, gained 20 lbs and now been stuck at 172lb for 2.5 weeks. just feel full all the time man. consequently, lifts are flatlining as well. vitamin + 4k iu vit d + fish oil + recently a little bit of creatine.
meals are like cereal w/ soy milk +2x eggs, chipotle, 4x whey scoops, 2x bananas, chicken and rice (the halal food with white sauce), beef noodle soup +egg, pho + extra meat on side, taco bell (2 chalupas + taco combo), wendys (3 jr cheeseburgers). the whey + banana i try to do everyday, and out of the other meal options, i usually pick 4 of them to try to get 3k-3.2k kcals
lifts are currently:
squat 270 3x5 huge huge struggle, starting to get scared to go low as possible bench 140 5/4/3 3rd failure press 100 5/4/x(95 for last set and bumped out 5 reps) 3rd failure clean 135 5x3 super difficult, i tried 1 set of 3 at 140 lol'ed and took off the cookies dl 285 1x5 decent pullups constantly something like reps of 6,4 or 7,5. no real improvement although i started to deadhang them more
fuark, i just feel so weak on the bench especially when im lookin at guys benching above their bw with ease any advice/suggestions are very welcome

If you got a video of your bench posted here we might be able to give pointers. If you're squatting 270 3x5 your bench should be close to BW at least, but that's why you're posting I guess The presses always see the slowest gains in my experience.

Could be worse. Look at me, I bench 80kg but my squat is 70kg :p

I guess you guys finally deserve a progress pic. Some of you probably remember that I was strong once. Unfortunately when you stop eating, that doesn't last. But I guess in this case the picture says enough.
Don't click if you don't like looking at fat naked man. And imagine that I probably had already lost 5-10kg before I took the first picture, but there is no picture of my worst time.

Thanks for all your support over the last couple of years.

On bench would be improve your form (tight abs, packed shoulders, active descend, crushing the barbell with your hands). Sometimes you just need to reset though; dont train to failure often, actually never do it. Overall would be to stop eating soy
Congrats at Malinor Zafrumi introductory cycle is 2 weeks oo

I'm alive.
Squats are epic though. Being able to sit hands free while keeping trunk entirely vertical is a nice skill to have. Surprised the crap out of in hospital PT (they came, wondered if I could walk, did like 10 laps )

Taking it easy this week to prepare for the lift on saturday. Dont think i'll be squatting at all. just a lot of form work and a few heavy singles Snatched up to 275 (which i'm gonna open with Clean and jerked up to 315, missed the 320 jerk (my other opener)

HOLY SHIT. Incredible progress. You basically go from being a blob (no offense) to having defined face, arms, traps and overall looking a ton better. Congrats man!
@froadac thats great!
