I went for years being high every night and never dreaming. Now that I am relatively cleaner (only smoking/drinking on weekends, most the time) I start dreaming even before I fall asleep. I mean my mind feels like its working a mile a minute as im drifting off. just going over impossible situations/made up stuff. And it feels like the dreams just go on all night. Most of them are okay relatively but often exceptionally bizarre. Then at least once every night I have nightmares about horrible creatures. and a recurring theme is losing my mobility. Like losing control of my legs and arms and collapsing in embarrassing/dangerous situations and being unable to get up or even cry out. I toss and turn and sweat all night and see every hour on the clock and wake up after too many snoozes feeling frustrated and stressed out. I could easily lay down for a nap any time of day for the past few weeks. Days that i gym are only marginally better and maybe that's just in my head. Is this withdraw? the dreams are somewhat lucid often and sometimes I will just nope myself awake. Can I train my mind to dream about more pleasant things? Should I try something like melatonin or sleeping drugs? It's getting to the point where my muscles are sore from lack of rest. I would spend an embarrassing amount of money if someone guaranteed me 8hrs of uninterrupted sleep. I think you might have a bit of withdrawal. I know when I go to sleep high I usually sleep right through the night not remebering my dreams. So when I stop a binge my dreams feel more vivid because I'm actually remebering them. I wouldn't use any sleeping pills or anything. Just keep sleeping naturally. Alternatively try keeping a dream journal! As soon as you wake up write down as much as you can. Basically the family buried the dead uncle, then laid a picnic blanket over the grave and ate fried chicken on top of him and made me join in. + Show Spoiler + I am legit serious that's what they did. I watched them dig a hole, bring the body with this big funeral procession, then they put him in said hole, filled it up, then put a blanket over the grave, put all these ceremonial food offerings of like cakes and fried chicken on there, said a prayer, and then the whole family huddled over the grave and ate the offerings and chatted and laughed and had a great time. They wanted me to take pictures and while I was taking pictures of what was basically a picnic this old woman sat me down, handed me a chicken leg and said "EAT". Was fun. Definitely doing this at my funeral. On June 02 2015 13:35 Scip wrote: Completely unrelated question am I the only person who fakes embarrassment when getting complimented IRL? It's not like me and it feels really awkward but I've heard it said that that's people's preferred reaction I usually respond with a genuine thank you. I like to really convey how much I appreciate such an honest and open compliment. I don't think it's easy for people to really put out there how awesome they think you are/something you did. Alternatively I sometimes respond with a coy "Awwww stop you're making me blush."

In graduation times you'll be getting a lot of compliments, most will probably be in a "thank you" environment. When I get compliments that are for things I'm proud of, I act (as I feel) giddy, really happy. When it's for meh things, I still say thank you, but try to take the edge from the compliment by also praising collaborators or so. I think this is a really cool topic. In some cultures it's REALLY impolite to take any edge off of compliments, in some you just brush past them....

The total projected cost of the game was $5m, but 90% of that had been essentially secured pre-Kickstarter. http://www.polygon.com/2015/5/12/8592901/bloodstain-kickstarter-castlevania-reboot Kickstarter so far is being used to get people to throw massive amounts of money at dev's who are heralded as legendary figures only to find out that surprise surprise there's a reason publishers stopped funding them. At this point buyer beware because for every successful kickstarter I can point to five others that either failed to deliver or where pushed out the door in perma alpha or just wasn't worth it.

Kickstarter is an investment. That's really just it. In the aggregate, I agree--just like with other kinds of investment, there are people who make unwise decisions that are essentially gambling. But also just like other kinds of investment, it's possible to spend some time and effort doing your research properly and apply a little common sense and make your investment decisions a little more wisely--which can yield good returns.

Invest in dinosaurs. That's what Yango means. Dinosaurs that you can ride or use as very large, angry attack dogs. Or fly on. Maybe even swim on(omg if you can eventually train a megalodon or something in this game... to the dev forums!).

Let me propose to you a different situation: Suppose, instead of taking the Foil Goyf, he took a basic land from the pack because someone agreed to pay him $10,000 cash for taking that basic land. How would that change your assessment of the situation, and why? Because from the perspective of "best competitive pick vs. pick that gives higher expected monetary return", that is basically the same thing. Again, I'm not saying that I agree with the people damning Maynard over this, but you have to realize that Is entirely not a valid counter-argument to anyone that is. That would be collusion and the player drafting would be disqualified under the rules of taking alternative prize support for the outcome of a game. The difference here is that the player is the one who made the active decision go take the card that he felt gained him the most value. Percentage value would be the burst lightening (the correct draft pick) or monetary value (the foil goyf). The issue doesn't stem from the fact that he knew that he could get more money from a goyf. The issue stems from the fact that this supplementary set has more value to a secondary market that professional players are taking money cards that don't fit lists over the arguably correct pick. It also doesn't help that he knew that if he made top 4 they were likely to prize split anyway (this is not uncommon at all) and were likely just playing for pro points, of which in his situation didn't matter because he already has gold level locked this season abdn can't get plat with the number of gp's/pt's left. If prize support for the largest gp of all time had been better/ different than "stock gp" then this might not have been the case. But all in all the only people who are taking the arguement that taking the correct pick over the goyf are the people who financially it doesn't matter to because they are already locked into all the pro tours this season and are playing for essentially dick hat points. Edit: phone typing is also hard.
