Edit: You're prolly bad at Hearthstone because you have played other TCG's and haven't come to the brutal relevancy that Card Advantage rarely matters, and that Board Control is everything. Stop Over Extending, and Start killing his little bastards more often.
meh, when I first started I counted board control and always lost because of card advantage. Card advantage usually wins me games unless I don't have enough mana to play minions early and get overrun but that's a deck/drawing luck issue
board control always gets fuqed by aoe, how do you handle that

I feel a little better about my drinking capabilities or ya'll had way more than me... could have been how long it took me to get 100cs and there wasn't much of my drink left either I guess 
May I venture a guess that both board control and card advantage are important to winning!

By not overextending. That's how you handle that. Sit on cards, hold more threats. Play 2 or 3 dudes at a time, but never anymore. After he answers your board, kill his again preferably with more dudes. In EVERY other TCG you don't just see them run cards out there just because, it takes thought and how you want things to go in YOUR favor to win games.
If you're playing mini's just overextend all day, favor wins games.

Paladin Mirror means arena for me, and also means autoloss because in my last 5 paladin drafts I haven't had more than one consecrate or truesilver, with most of them I don't get any at all. Somehow a draft with 3 Argent Protector and a Scarlet Crusader ended up giving me 8 wins, with both paladins an autoloss (the 3rd was a Shaman with a ridiculous draft, earth elemental, lava burst, several forked lightnings, bloodlust, 2 rockbiter, hex, feral spirits, etc.).
Relying on a Worgen Infiltrator turn 1 to get a decent start shouldn't be allowed to go so far in arena wtf. ._.

It is allowed, and the biggest reason arena is so ez.
games are ridic easy to snowball off a better start and since most people build shit curves, that means almost every game.
Doesn't even matter if your deck is largely garbage otherwise, getting a good start will mean a win 90% of the times.
