Not really, it makes a lot of sense tbh. Kia is still the small kid on the block in regards to car companies, finally having a flagship luxury car is a huge step for them. The commercial was pretty on point in regards to presenting the idea that "hey, Kia's got a big fat luxury car in the market too". It was a bit campy, but the message it sent was on point.

I bought Rust with my brother. Kind of fun but it took us ages to meet up with eachother and when we finally did some guy with a shotgun just murdered us in cold blood.
Also didn't really have any idea what we were doing the entire time.
