easier way to say it for Tasteless, starcraft is one of very few games where you constantly need BOTH hands to be playing

its honestly pretty exhausting to play sometimes, luckily I have garbage late game so it typically doesn't matter

Just cheese your opponent every game. Like that Starcraft gets divided into nice manageable 5 minute chunks.

this is exactly what I was thinking lol

what makes this so odd, though, is that when he was at his peak, he always made the right decisions...he seemed so much more cerebral

Yeah, it's kind of weird cos in HotS I was a huge fan of his decision making and ability to adjust on the fly, for me that is still his peak (maybe not in actual skill, but he seemed much more well rounded despite a slight weakness in PvT)

I appreciate his play in LotV but he is seemingly been so one dimensional since his initial domination. Even though his results improved after his (2017?) slump, his actual play hasn't really impressed me, other than his very nice builds.

yeah except for the start of 2016 I don't think he has ever been nearly as well rounded as he used to be back in like 2014

typically my plan is to just never build a 4th command center

What's going on with the sound? Are we getting the sound from some other observer that's in the game?

edit: yeah the sound definitely matches in game stuff but not always on camera stuff. Or is the timing just off?

marines reinforcements just run to the push then right

i honestly dont think zest shouldve built a prism and sent it to innos main with vital units....and then he warped into innos base too.

the goal is to hold the push, not punish a terran who is already all-inning. You cant have best of both worlds

Questionable to say the least from Zest, he still almost held despite doing that even still.

Suppose that’s why 1 base allins outside of hardcore cheddar are so rare these days.

I guess that's also what makes zest one of hte greatest players of all time.

He sure has that killer instinct and confidence that he can simply overwhelm others with his skill.

Inno all-inning is the wrong player to do that to though

True that with Zest, suppose warp prism back stabs are such standard practice now autopilot might have set in, or a misread or w/e.

Zest would be up there for me, probably below herO in winning games with ballsy decision making that even as a viewer with all the information shouldn’t work. Keeps the game fun!

So pumped for this TvT too

honestly I just don't understand Zest, he always seems to have big holes in his play yet he still does pretty decently

I think he has done so well because he doesnt hesitate.

in a game as fast as SC2 hesitating, or lack thereof, is an underrated aspect.

Zest is just nuts in that regard. he never seems to get tilted, and he never hesitates

I think that herO vs Trap series from IEM Katowice 2019 made me laugh more than any other series I've ever watched

I'm kinda puzzled that INnoVation loses 13 workers early on, falls behind in workers considerably as a result, and then just goes toe to toe with Maru in a nice macro game. Surely being a dozen workers behind has some sort of effect?

His absurdly fast 3CC off 1rax had something to do with it. Maru killing 19 scvs just evened things up into a regular macro game.

Fast 3rd CC is kinda good. I think Maru took a few bad trades early too which did help even it up too.

Is the depot into CC on the high ground a common thing in TvT now or is this just a GSL mind game thing. I was kinda surprised when Inno did that game 1.

Maru was up something like 49 workers to 38 right after the hellion drop went through though. Even considering that INno had some other compensation he should've still been behind.
