Hey, that was actually a good game.
I bear this sig to commemorate the loss of the team icon that commemorated Oversky's 2008-2009 Proleague Round 1 performance.

if he had prevented the stalkers from killing his natural that could've been a game

Showtime just played it safe as he knew how ahead in tech he was.

Would it have been much better if he just cancelled it just before it finished?

If the only games you enjoy are the incredible comebacks, don't be surprised with your lifetime of disappointment.

It should have been. It took forever for Dark to get an expansion out.

I don't think he saw Showtime scouted it considering he sent 2 drones across the map and sent them back when showtime attacked the hatch

I am not saying the game wasn't enjoyable, but a game where both players seem to have a chance would be just better

The lair just started, he's pretty far ahead.

This game isn't even close. (and by that I mean Dark is absolutely destroying him)

yeah...
I salute Showtime, 9/10 protosses would have went for the jugular after the failed Zerg allin, knowing they should have the edge and yet 5/10 times Dark would have held it, cuz he precisely prepared for that, super delaying the Lair and evo.
Well played by Showtime, masterclass of good, defensive play.

Going for it would have been the better call, it was a huge gamble to wait longer. If Dark would have split a couple of lings at the fourth of if he had gotten those immortal at the 3rth before the recall (he would have had at least 2 of them if he didn't split his last bile to cut out the retreat), then it become a much more even game. He did everything right so good for him, but he could have make this a lot easier for himself and he didn't.

that s a fairly big IF, considering Showtime still had enough shield left to safely recall both stalkers.

He was already pretty committed at that point. Leaving the hatch there atleast made it chaotic, instead of a situation where he has no natural hatch and nothing else either I guess.

Pretty misleading to call that a "B.O." win. More like "Dark didn't get a lucky win".
