The main question in my mind for these matches is about which SpeCial and which Rogue will show up. At this point, I don't even know if I'd say I'd give Rogue the edge. Theoretically, I guess you'd say he "should" be favored, but if SpeCial is in full-on Blizzcon mode and Rogue is playing derpy again, it could even be a stomp for SpeCial, who knows?

Yeah, I mean, rogue *should* win, but both of these guys have 2 different forms that can show up to a given tournament.

So will Maru be on Serral's side of the bracket in the playoffs? Because it would sucks if they had to meet before the finals. The best is if Maru and Serral are on opposite sides of the bracket so they can meet in the finals.
But when I look at the playoff bracket on Liquipedia or the Blizzcon website, I can't tell how they will be seeded in the playoffs. Does anybody know if Maru and Serral will be on the same half the bracket in the playoffs or on the opposite half of the bracket?

It seems over the last 2 years of Blizzcon the only thing guaranteed was that the #1 players in the group faces a #2 player in the bracket stage. So these two could meet in the semifinals already. That happened last year, Special was #1 in group A and soO was #1 in group B and these two played in the semifinals.

Todays games should be a lot closer than yesterday. Yesterday the big question was whether the heavy favorites gonna get sniped or just fold under the pressure put on them, and we got a resounding NO, both Maru and Serral bringing a clinic, some of the clearest 4-0s ever. Neeb beating TY 2-1 is comfortably within the realm of normal, even for those who predicted the double Korean T advancing, they probably still happy with their chances.
Im excited for pretty much all of these starting rounds (well, aside from Has, but at least it might be entertaining,right?), not to say they are toss-ups, but the margin is a lot thinner than yesterday. The biggest skill difference is Classic v nerchio, but that is supposedly Classics weak MU, so it s still interesting.

Both Showtime and Nerchio are solid enough to potentially make it close or even win. I don't think their chances are much worse than those of Special. Although Showtime doesn't look very good in PvZ vs the good European Zergs so I don't expect him to win at all, but he's really good sometimes.

B1 - D2
C1 - B2
D1 - A2
That seems a bit random, not sure if it was RNG draw or they determined this way.

50/50 chance they meet before finals (if they get so far)
Group 1st meets 2nd. Who meets who is random.

What's better? them meeting before the finals or them not meeting at all?
People act like nobody can beat them, it's not at all guaranteed that they will beat everyone else.
