He still won the GSL because terran is solid to good in other areas, namely fast tank pushes against zerg and midgame aggression against toss.
I'd be very glad if you could properly elaborate on why it's an issue that one race has an upperhand over the another in lategame, but maybe not here.

It's not Blizzard fault if foreigners are not on the same level of Koreans. Despite what people are saying to get buffs to their own races, balance is quite good at this moment .

Maybe he did, but GSL is a better indicator than streams. Maru lost in the lategames against Rogue and Leenock in GSL. Along with every other terran that's tried it in a premier event recently.
