Those are now more precious than ever because I have no way of knowing when the MS hits my motor capabilities, but for now, I can confirm that my legs are perfectly fine, because I have did ride better than ever today. Back in school we had the opportunity to learn snowboarding or skiing, i think i made the wrong call :/ No problem, learn the other thing now. I learned to ski at around 26 and to snowboard at 31 and knowing both is absolutely awesome. Now I only snowboard, because I am an old person and skiing is too painful for my joints. Having the legs tied together in a fixed position has drawbacks in logistics, but great benefits for not hurting your knees. what location are you snowboarding ?

Is there a possibility (in theory) that a player who never wins anything but always places highly can be the goat? :D Don't see why not, but he'd have to do a crazy amount of work JUst thinking because people in general seem to only look at title wins as a metric (not saying you do) Personally i simply think that a second place at GSL is worth a lot as well. Having four of that has to be worth more than one win easily.

This still has nothing on the IPL 5 DJ.

The only DJ I've seen get good feeback at an esport show was Darude at Dreamhack winter. And that's only because twitch chat likes memes

really though, i think having a DJ like this performing on stage is a great stress test for ESL crew production, somewhat like a challenge
maybe they see it this way

Obertauern, Salzburg, Austria. I was there today for the first time and it is impressive, that close to Prague it's very hard to find a place with such great slopes and high altitude, it's marvelous. Sadly, there is no powder, so it's all about slopes, but for that purpose, I am very satisfied with it (for powder riding, I know much better places in Kitzbuhel Alps).

ESL CS:GO 177596 viewers Disgusting. How many viewers did we have? 50k? 60k? Part of them already waiting for CSGO?

But why is it disgusting? CS:GO is a huge, amazing game.
The turnout for sc2 was not bad.

People ask me that a lot for some reason (which is silly, because I am not very good at either) and my opinion is that if you want to transport yourself between two points that are separated by rideable snow, using ski is a no-brainer, they are just much more efficient. But I enjoy the activity on snowboard much more, it is just really relaxing and it's such a great way of movement. It's really hard to explain, but it just feels so natural to move down a hill on snowboard, it's like this is the way humans were somehow meant to move. Also it's much easier to deal with bad conditions or slopes that are too hard, because there are easy tricks that allow you to navigate virtually any kind of slope on a board (even though without very much fun, but without getting hurt).
An added benefit is, that snowboard is so much easier to take off-piste than ski - usually the most optimal ski for a groomed slope are not very good for deep powder and the whole set of skills is very different, whereas a snowboard is a snowboard. Sadly, it's not a very easy thing to do - surely, you can find a nice small shortcut here and there and it's fun, but for the best off-piste experience, you need actual powder, which is rather rare unless you are willing to chase it accross Europe, and you need to have someone to show you what to do, because once you leave the immediate vicinity of official slopes it gets really dangerous pretty fast and it's very hard to self-teach. I had one such friend and I enjoyed a couple of great powder days two years ago with him but the dickhead moved very far away and thus my freeriding career went to a halt. I would now dare to try some easier things without him, but I don't have any other friend into it and riding off-piste alone is not very wise.

tbf CSGO is actually a great esport. CS and SC are by far the highest skill games.
