He's the guy that sent Dear to Code B. Legend killer

Killing Jaedong doesn't make you a legend killer. Neither does killing an already hurt Dear.

I have to say, BaseTradeTV is pretty great. I've been watching them a lot the last few weeks, during Dreamhack and IEM, and I've been very impressed. ^^ And this is such a cool event.

EDIT: Can't believe I spelled that wrong.

SC2 simply isn't Jaedong's game IMO.

Every single game he played in this tournament didn't seem like his normal self. I think he was just messing around half the time or not giving his opponents the respect they deserve.

Behold the offspring of a spiritual meeting between Bbyong, SuperNova and Polt.

Who is the farther of Salvation?

PRIME Terrans have only one spiritual father. The aim of the game is then to kill him.

Maybe his rep as best muta microer is a little over-exaggerated.

it seems like he just doesnt enjoy the game and only plays it because his fans want to see him play. When i watch his stream, you can tell he doesnt like this game very much. Now look at the homestory cup showmatch with stork, he was having a lot more fun

My point is that he was exceptional in BW muta micro. In SC2 there isn't that much micro to be done with mutas, but yet he's not doing it?

I don't think that's the problem. He showed really high potential, but for some reason is playing subpar for a few months with dubious decisions and general sloppiness.

My guess, for that particular scenario, is that he wanted to catch Journey offguard and thus rushed too hastily into action without first thinking about the potential combined effect of Mine detonations + Thor volleys. And with heavy AoE like that, punishement is immediate.

His reputation is from BW where he would kill marines without even taking hits.. SC2 is different you can't do that in this game Jaedong said it himself

I've seen Life Scarlett and DRG micro mutas in such a way that 8 mutas can kill 9 marines. I've seen magic boxes. But what he did in that last engagement vs Journey was just sloppy.

Why do you think he doesnt enjoy the game when you watch his stream? It's pretty standard for korean progamers to show next to no emotion when winning let alone just streaming =P

I'd say he's playing to win. I saw him live when he lost at IEM Cologne. He looked absolutely crushed.
