I do think that it's valid to stay that long in a game you know you've lost, it really has to take its toll on the opponent, and there's always that tiny percent of games where your opponent will mess up and you end up winning.

Yeah, nice exageration. Ultra cames the last 5min and JD had the shittiest unit control possible.

Jaedong played super sloppy. Both of the games so far, he's been bleeding Mutas left and right. Literally flying Mutas+Overseer over WMs at one point and taking huge losses.

Taeja is such a boss. Nazgul said "Hey you've been leaving games kinda early we need you to stay in longer" and now Taeja plays til the end.

As usual, Ultras trying their hardest to make that sweet Terran comeback happen. I always felt infestors would be better since terrans can't split too well when defending in their quarters.

Taeja killed 4+ Ultralisks with Marine/Marauder without really losing anything by simply stim-kiting them...
I ask you the same question, did you watch it ? There was 5 ultras mogolizing in a mineral line without any support out of creep. Ofc they are kittable but JD did nothing to make the unit worth itself. Once ultras are on the map, the game is usually over. There must be less than 10% of terran winning against ultra 5/3. I can't think of any right now.

Just for the record, my ZvT involves getting out 3-5 ultras on 4 base taking a 5th. If they actually come out, I am probably 95% win rate. I really don't think they are a bad unit.

Seems like you dont understand how much effort that takes. Kiting at that level is basically impossible for anyone not at Taejas level, and JD just had to click attack.

You just can attack into buildings with them.

I agree that JD had poor unit control, but when you have killed two of your opponents bases, 60 workers and are up 80-100 supply, you shouldn't have to dedicate yourself to micro. When a Zerg is down 30 supply, he loses; no matter what he does to try to win the game. Terran and Toss can literally a-move at 80-100 supply ahead and win with no problem yet it takes fifteen minutes for a Zerg to end the game in the same situation.

My rule of thumb with Ultras is never building too many of them, I think the sweet number is one less than the number of Hatcheries you have.
