Can't wait to see how the final story of this year unfolds. Well, Boxer vs Idra was mostly anticipated because of their names, the games themselves were rather terrible. Breaking Bad season 2 was bad. There will be no "well, ..."s at Blizzcon. This is the 16 best players of the year.

As a fan, I honestly don't mind who wins out of HerO and sOs, both impeccably entertaining Toss players in different ways. HerO has shown an outrageous willingness to gamble in PvP, and combined with the unpredictability of sOs's strategies I think that this could actually be a tremendously entertaining series if you like mad-cap action and weird scenarios. What I would love to see is sOs show us fresh builds, and for HerO to anticipate this to some extent and open super-safe, play really reactively into the midgame. Is HerO confident enough in macro games to do this? His defence (in all matchups!) as generally been a bit suspect, so I think that he'll go on the offensive and try and pick up some build-order wins. I can't see sOs ever doing anything other than being sOs. This will probably be the "worst" series for the die-hards (decided more by build order advantages and spawn locations, scouting patterns, and other randomness that for some reason the more hardcore viewers hate), but I think it'll have a lot of great micro and be a lot of fun!

What kills him is his insanely aggressive mindset that makes him split up his army, looking to do damage to exploit his advantages instead of taking the safer route of perhaps taking earlier bases/denying his opponents' and then deathballing to victory. Instead he'll be warping in in 3 places at once, has his army threatening a place and then gets timewarped and loses his main army while none of his warpins are able to deal as much damage as his opponent does by killing his army. If he gets that fixed he's got killer PvP.

Change up their game so they aren't very predictable and are basically unbeatable late game. And I think Taeja wins because unlike someone like Maru who has had issues with Dear because he just tries to beat his opponent down, Taeja wants to go late game because he is better than anyone else at that point. I agree that the winner of Taeja and Dear is more likely to make it to the final, but if it's Taeja vs Soulkey i think soulkey stands a better chance. E: Anyway Taeja and Dear're gonna get through each other first...

Taeja vs Soulkey will be an epic match on the level of Soulkey Innovation which is why I really hope Taeja wins aside from being a huge fanboy. Aside from Taeja I honestly don't think anyone can beat him.

I think both of them are capable to get to the semifinals if they didn't meet in the first round.

This guarantees a good good time and a really good tournament ! Besides, the corresponding event is a really nice buff. I think Blizzard improved a lot the WCS system. Last years WCS finals weren't nearly as good in term of player potential. This is finally and ultimately the final phases of the SCII World Cup. To all those events (WCG, ESWC) who pretended to showcase the worldcup, this is how you do it.

They really are. The brackets are honestly pretty lopsided. I would say the top 5 players are Maru Innovation Soulkey and Taeja in no particular order. One of them is out first round and another is out next round no matter what. Soulkey won't have to meet any of them till he gets to the finals.
