Polt was way better mechanically, but did stupid mistakes that allowed First to get these economic cheeses. First was really clever in his play, but mechanically ? Polt was a thousand times ahead. That's pretty sad ... and disappointing. Like, I just don't even want to keep watching for now. I need a break :/
thousand times better mechanically? what?
Shit fanboys say, man.
I wanted Polt to win - Prime alumni and USA - but damn if First didn't think his way out of that series. Call him the BrainToss because that was some high minded play, right there. Mechanics are great, but it is always awesome to see people really strategerize on the fly, like that. I love it.
probably not on the fly, when you play tons of games these situations (killing the reaper) happen and you plan them out. Still brilliant tho

Indeed. Polt has very good strategic thinking when it comes to armymovement, which I guess is why he favours a big army over upgrades, but his overall strategies were an F those games. First was given a pretty easy victory.
Damnit I have the feeling that Duckdeok will kill both Naniwa and Jaedong and thus killing 2 of my favorites<.< Fate really don't want me to cheer for him

I didn't think of that. That's probably not the first time he's been in that situation.
Yeah, still great though, recognizing the situation and reacting so perfectly.
