Good day. Parting cockiness brings a lot to the korean scene for me, the guy can back it up with results, i love the dude, but as a startale fan i have to side with life. They were pretty close, with a 2/2, but well, at the end who had the stamina to win the last games, deserves the spot. And those forcefields + Timewarps on game 2 and simcity on game 1
Flash is the on i feel still has a long way to get at the level of the people on his group today (and no, that doesn't mean bad ), i don't know if it is he being stubborn and having a hard time to adapt while the metagame is still evolving. Innovation giving us more hints on what level his multitask and decission making is, and i think those are key to success as a terran. Bogus man.
Good Games.

They just keep repeating "zomg these guys are invincible perfect gosu gods." Maybe funny once but it just got ridiculous to the point where they weren't even breaking down what was going on in the games. In my opinion Axeltoss and Axslav are the best pair of casters. Insightful and funny, they go on diatribes sometimes but then they get right back to giving useful commentary.
that was my point, and it's sad because someone like me could have used some actual analysis
oh well

Flash didn't lose because mech was weak. He got outplayed throughout the whole game. Those marauder drops didn't work because bio>>>>mech. They worked because Flash didn't get a raven for odd, widow mines and he didn't have his hellbats in the right place when the drop came. If the hellbats are right around the tanks the bio melts as it drops down. Flash moved his hellbats too far away from his tanks and paid the price.
I don't know if Flash ends up making it through but I hope to Jesus he doesn't.
in all fairness to flash the game that he lived for 6 years got phased out in favor of another game
i'm not trying to start the old bw vs sc2 fight but it's kind of unrealistic to expect flash to be amazing at sc2 right away when his bw dominance was based on years and years of obsessing about the game and thinking about it every waking hour
it's also not fair to dismiss him because he isn't dominant right away - he wasn't dominant right away in bw either and look what happened there

Any rebroadcast guys? I couldn't see it live.

Not just Flash, but all the BW pros are similar. They're playing the game they don't really know as good as they did back in the day.

They are called vikings on sc2
And PDD is really helpfull against those pesky marauders. Flash just massed tanks/hellbats/medivacs, which won't get you very far with mech on tvt except if you do huge damage with your drops, and hellbats suck at sniping tech/production.

The funny thing is, Flash is already really beastly. Easily top ten in the world and second best terran. Just the standards are so high for a legend

I think the hope fans see in Flash is that the deficiencies in his play are due to a lack of thorough game understanding. This will be solved with time and coaching.
What made him the best is still with him. His multitask, micro, and macro.

if you look at flash's trajectory in BW it's similar - at first he was just "good", then he slumped a bit, then he became the undisputed greatest ever
it all depends on his motivation. if he WANTS to be the greatest SC2 player (and i think he does) he will be eventually. but eventually is not today.

I feel terran go backwards, when they replace Goliath with Viking..
They dont even share the same upgrade..
And goliath can attack air and ground without transforming.

What made him best, is his attitude. When I read his interview, I am in awe.
It is his attitude that touch my heart the most. It is something, I wish to have as well.
